Manage a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a Director in the product development division, you will lead a team that defines product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications.

Envision and communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met.

The ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations is important. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 of software engineering or related experience preferred.

Product Manager for the Oracle Support Knowledge : Oracle's Support knowledgeable is one of the largest customer facing knowledge bases with over 1.3M knowledge documents and 6M monthly searches. Most of our Support knowledge articles are created as a byproduct to improve the knowledge authoring process during the handling of the Service Request . The software infrastructure spans from authoring to customer consumption and is supported by extensive feature rich tooling.

The search and browse capabilities for customers include features such as facet / filter refinements, search suggests, knowledge recommendations etc. The knowledge program includes hundreds of knowledge communities that are actively managed to enhance the currency and relevancy of content as well managing customer feedback.

Responsibilities include:

Lead Program Management of Knowledge communities to ensure current and relevant content

Ensure Knowledge Presentation & Search Effectiveness for Customers and Engineers

Ensure Timely Knowledge creation via Oracle Diagnostic Methodology (ODM) used in solving Oracle's SR's

Develop requirements, participate in design and testing to ensure software tooling enhancements conform to the plan and are designed to Knowledge Program objectives.

Qualifications : Expert on Knowledge Centered Support practices and technologies Engineering experience

Proficient in diagnostic methodologies

Analytics experience

Experience with Machine Learning and AI technologies Experience leading virtual teams

Good written and verbal skills

Proficient in Powerpoint and Excel

BS in Computer Science or equivalent

Responsibilities Land Systems Product Director Position Description: QinetiQ North America's Unmanned Systems Group is looking for a highly motivated Product Director in the fast paced, high tech field of robotics and control systems. The Product Director is responsible for managing product lines including product roadmaps planning, Opportunity Capture, Program Management and platform configuration management for a portfolio of Unmanned Systems. Additional responsibilities include design, develop and product improvement, leading a multi-disciplinary team of cutting edge engineers. The Product Director will also be responsible for working with Product Managers and Business Development Leaders to developing new concepts, identify funding opportunities, securing internal funding, and external funding. The Product Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing Product Managers executing all aspects of the product lifecycle from concept generation through product fielding to deployed system sustainment. Job purpose: Candidate will be responsible for setting technical direction and driving development in QinetiQ North America's Waltham, MA based Unmanned Systems group. Candidate will show thought and technical leadership in the field of military and commercial robotic products. The Candidate will be proficient in complex, intelligent systems, have an understanding of machine design and analysis, mechatronics, and software. The candidate will perform as the Product Manager Team lead. The candidate must to have a demonstrated ability to engage customers, write proposals, lead teams, interact with internal and external customers, and successfully execute complex programs. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: Manage all aspects of a mature and growing product line.Develop project and program opportunities, leveraging internal and external funding.Set direction and guide teams to execute complex projects, ranging from early development to product delivery.Provide technical leadership and guidance within funding, schedule, and customer constraints.Work within our robotics community and build relationships and partnerships.
