What You'll Get to Do:

Assist product managers in day to day activities and projects. Draft, edit and review product documentation, -- specifications, brochures, catalogs may create sales training materials and expand website resources to streamline product support.

Technical Writing:

Work with production engineering to create design guides.

Draft and improve new and existing product documentation -- specifications, brochures, catalogs, block diagrams, and others.

Technical Support:

  • May assist in addressing engineering inquires and compliance issues

  • Update product reference master

  • Assist in the development of technical training materials for both sales staff and customers

Reports:

  • May assist management in the preparation of reports on product and sales

  • May assist in the research of market, competition and customer information.

  • May assist in project management of specific projects

What You'll Bring:

Education:

  • Seeking Junior College Students with an Expected Graduation Date of May 2019

  • A college intern with a major in Electrical Engineering, Business or Analytics.

  • Prior experience in engineering design, business management or data analytics preferred.

  • Successful candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Communications:

  • Strong written and oral communication capabilities are required.

We are looking for a couple interns to join our amazing Product teams - one on Growth and one on Learner Experience. Our Product teams focus on understanding Coursera's three core users: learners, instructors, and enterprise clients, and building products that help meet those users' needs. Coursera's Growth team is focused on increasing our core Consumer, Enterprise and Degree metrics by optimizing the Registration, Discovery, Enrollment and Payment flows. The Growth team also is responsible for growing our top-of-the-funnel. Some projects we are currently considering include reducing enrollment friction, and supporting new payment types. The Learner Experience team is focused on optimizing the in-course experience for the millions of learners on our platform. Our team works on products including enhanced video experience, high-quality assessments, and note taking for learners - all with a lens towards encouraging learners to stay active on our platform and facilitating best practice pedagogy at scale. Some projects we are currently considering include learning objectives and skills tagging, enhancing the peer review experience, and improving the feedback given and received for learners.
