HPE Global IT is responsible for providing best in class IT solutions to HPE's business units including Global Operations, Compute, Storage, Intelligent Edge, and Greenlake. The candidates will manage the design and successful delivery of Product & Services Master Data solutions, collaborating with various IT and business partners.

  • Researches and designs existing and new business applications and/or information systems solutions including databases through integration of technical and business requirements. Applications and infrastructure solutions include both 3rd party software and internally developed applications and infrastructure.

  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: analysis of business requirements, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of applications, infrastructure, and information systems including database management systems.

  • Works within the Information Technology function working in support of objectives and strategies.

  • Provides required documentation and participates in architecture reviews to ensure that the solutions comply with standards and use approved technologies. Typical (internal) "customers" are company end users and various functional areas such as Product Engineering, Product Data Management, Sales, Order Management, Supply Chain, Research and Development, Marketing, and Finance, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Influences overall IT and business planning; engages in strategic business planning where there is IT impact.

  • Gathers business requirements, leads analysis and drives techno-functional solutions

  • Performs analysis of complex functional and business requirements and applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to provide maintenance solutions across one or more technology areas

  • Demonstrates technical leadership, and exerts influence outside of immediate team.

  • Designs solutions for others to code. Leads functional and technical design and participates as a member of development teams.

  • Consults with team members and other organizations, customer and vendors on complex issues.

  • Provides leadership to teams and integrates technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for HPE and HPE's trading partners.

  • Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders. Uses deep business knowledge to drive engagement on major IT initiatives.

Education and Experience Required:

  • 6-10 years' experience designing/developing/implementing PTC Windchill PLM solutions (SaaS cloud experience a plus)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business / Engineering / Finance or related discipline

  • Some experience in SAP PLM master data system a plus

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for employer-sponsored work authorization (i.e., visa) either now or in the future (e.g., F-1 visa holder with fixed expiration). Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated functional and technical leadership skills working on Product & Services Master Data solutions.

  • Business and technical acumen in the following areas: Product Lifecycle Management / Product Data Management, New Product Introductions, Master Data Management / Master Data Governance, Complex Bills of Materials, Variant Config Product & Service management, Engineering Change Management, Product & Services Hierarchy methodologies and tools expertise

  • Experience in identifying and implementing new IT technologies in the product master data space

  • Demonstrates strong command of the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills of complex and technical concepts.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; influencing skills and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team

  • Candidates with strong (IT) Project Management and (IT) Vendor Management experience a plus.

Experience nice to have:

  • Experience in Project Management to manage 3d party system integrators.
