General Purpose:

The Product Marketing Manager will develop and manage the growth of TPx's Cloud Communications and Cross Product Solutions and will include the following:

  • Buyer Persona

  • Develop positioning and messaging that resonates with buyers and empowers sales to be successful

  • Present our product's value proposition in a way that resonates and clearly articulates how we solve our buyers' problems.

  • Strong writing skills and an eye for detail

  • Collaborate with our digital marketing team to develop innovative programs that drive demand.

  • Tracking performance and have the data to prove what's working and what isn't.

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Sales.

  • Corporate Communications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Buyer Persons: Be the expert on our customers and prospects: who they are, what they want and how they buy and will transfer that knowledge to product planning efforts and product positioning activities

  • Competitive Analysis: be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned in the market

  • Messaging: Develops product positioning and messaging, in partnership with product managers that differentiates TPx's products in the market

  • Vertical Marketing: Corporate vertical marketing

  • Marketing Plan: Develop a product marketing plan in conjunction with marketing that include key activities and events that help support and retain our existing customers as well as acquire new customers.

  • Product Launches: Plan the launches of new products and releases of existing products and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan

  • Content Marketing: Develop content strategy and content including brochures, datasheets, presentations, videos, emails, infographics

  • Sales Enablement: Battle cards, TCO tools, job aids, infographics, whitepaper and other sales briefs

  • Demand generation develops the strategy and manages the marketing programs that drive demand for TPx's products.

  • Marketing Effectiveness: Assess the effectiveness of the marketing plans/campaigns that support your products on an ongoing basis and report on suggested change

  • Corporate Communications: Weekly newsletter, PR related responsibilities, Crisis Communications and other corporate product marketing support

Desired Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of technology product marketing experience

  • Bachelor's degree of higher in business or marketing

  • Very strong written communication skills

  • Willing to travel 15%

  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Knowledge and experience in customer buying behavior for software-as-a-service (SaaS) and/or Managed Services is a strong plus

Peripheral Duties

  • Occasional attendance and/or sponsorship of sales and customer presentations, meetings and events.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Candidate requires excellent written and verbal communications skills including presentation skills.

  • Must possess the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize issues.

  • Project management skills and familiarity with building project plans, Gantt charts, and critical path analysis.

  • Marketo or other automation tool experience

  • Digital (Advertising, SEO)

  • Presentations (PowerPoint or other platforms)

A Plus

Creative content marketing skills including video editing, adobe and in-design.
