Shipt is growing and we are searching for a Product Marketing Manager to join our team! We are looking for a seasoned marketing professional who is motivated by consumer insights, passionate about the end-to-end user journey, and thrives in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will primarily focus on launching new product features and services to members and shoppers, while also collaborating across the marketing team to develop product positioning and messaging that hits every stage of the funnel.

Your Responsibilities

  • Craft positioning and messaging informed by user research, market insight, and product understanding.

  • Author briefs and lead tactical execution of large scale product campaigns.

  • Work closely with a range of cross-functional stakeholders across product, growth, merchandising, PR, and design to develop go-to-market strategy plans and execute launches of new products and services for members and shoppers.

  • Work with the broader marketing team to launch product-focused campaigns that span web, community, social, email, ads, and other marketing channels.

  • Research and report on key consumer, competitor and industry insights that can help inform the evolving product and marketing roadmaps.

  • Manage and prioritize a workload of multiple projects with a variety of stakeholders from concept to completion.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing experience (agency or in-house)

  • Experience in applying consumer insights to inform and optimize the product experience

  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Analytical thinker with experience in data-driven marketing

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with both analytical and creative teams

  • Demonstrated experience working on projects requiring follow-through; Demonstrated experience with time and project management

  • Proven ability to work at strategic and tactical levels

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, business or communications

Nice to Haves

  • Experience marketing an app-based product/technology

  • Experience marketing an eCommerce business

  • Passionate about product positioning and end-to-end consumer experiences

Essential Responsibilities: As our Product Marketing Manager: * You will drive product awareness, product adoption, and engagement among internal team members, business partners - and ultimately, our customers. * Strengthen product messaging and positioning, and refine product branding. * Develop dashboard reporting, customer insights and reporting for management. * You will live and breathe CRM: monitor win/loss rates and reasons, reporting findings back to management team. * Help define how we use our CRM and lead the training and product usage among internal team members. * You will build business development battlecards summarizing how cross-functional teams should approach their work in our line of business. * Help build pitch decks and marketing collateral, related to the needs of each audience segment. * Work with cross-functional teams across product management, UX, architecture, business development, internal communication, webmasters, developers, and more. * Lead internal and external communications. * Provide support for events and conferences. About You: * You are passionate about technology and how it impacts our everyday users and customers. * You have a natural empathy for customers and their world; enjoy finding creative solutions to get results for them. * Thrive in a dynamic team environment, and a quick study in learning about our unique Bank culture, adopting it, and working with ambiguity. * You are an exceptional teammate, collaborative at heart, calm under pressure and do not get overwhelmed easily. * Strong storyteller with ability to simplify the message into tangible stories. * Persuasive communicator to help build momentum and partner buy-in; strong writing and speaking skills. * You have strong organizational and project management skills to run competing priorities and deadlines. * Self-motivated, extremely hands-on and a strong individual contributor with the ability to define goals and prioritize. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems or similar marketing or technical discipline, or equivalent work experience. * Five or more years of industry product marketing/technical marketing experience. * Experience in marketing automation, product messaging and positioning, creative content development, campaign execution, go-to-market, and sales enablement * Validated ability to problem-solve, make data-driven, and research-driven decisions. * Experience in translating complex topics into stories that engage our customer segments. * Creative ability to develop traditional and non-traditional campaigns for challenging problems. * Solid experience in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus). * Bonus: experience in account-based marketing (Demandbase) and marketing automation (HubSpot, Marketo). * US Citizenship is required for this role. * Ability to travel up to 25%.
