We are looking for an entrepreneurial, strategic, and analytical Product Marketing Manager who is skilled at building new marketing programs from scratch, and who has a passion for diving deep into cross-channel approaches for reaching lower income segments with Amazon and Prime's many benefits that meet these customers' needs. You will be involved in developing the overall go-to-market strategy for marketing to these customers including developing targeting, messaging, and measurement. You will create and optimize channel strategies end-to-end, and own cross-functional relationships with over 15 teams across the company and partners and agencies outside of Amazon. You will work closely with central marketing teams to execute Owned & Operated channels, as well as become an expert in Amazon's targeting, email, merchandising, and analytics tools in order to scale reach of those customers who are already shopping on Amazon. You will also work with agencies to market off Amazon via digital and non-digital channels to reach those households that may not have previously shopped on Amazon and develop targeting and analytics solutions for these channels. The right person for this role will be able to join the team and provide recommendations based on current data, action new marketing opportunities, as well as create processes that streamline cross-team efforts.

The ideal candidate will have previous partnership and digital marketing experience, as well as experience working with several cross-functional teams. They will have a high innovation and analytical bar as well as an ability to deal with ambiguity while investigating complex challenges across all marketing opportunities.

  • Develop marketing strategy and execute across Onsite, Email, off-Amazon, and new channels

  • Generate, disseminate, and act upon customer insights about lower income segments

  • Drive marketing for underserved populations segments focused on acquisition of customers to the discounted Prime program, while also acting as a leader across Amazon of advocating for and partnering with other teams to meet the needs of this segment.

  • Innovate and implement 'test and learn' experiments throughout the year to drive incremental customer actions, scaling strategies which are successful

  • Own marketing program metrics end-to-end and present updates to senior stakeholders

  • Bachelor's degree

  • A background (5+ years) in Digital, Grassroots, Partnership Marketing and Program Development

  • MBA

  • Experience developing marketing strategies for lower income segments in US

  • Aptitude to test and learn (and sometimes test and fail)

  • Excellent relationship building skills and ability to earn trust of multiple groups and teams

  • Thorough documentation skills and workflow management

  • Proven negotiation skills, influencing ability, and data-driven channel investments

  • Strong organizational skills including prioritization, scheduling, time management, and meeting stretch deadlines

  • Ability to organize data and information across multiple channels, internal stakeholders, and vendors

  • Strong analytic skills and expertise in Excel

  • Startup experience and 'from scratch' idea generation and new channel launch experience

  • Technical aptitude and agility to learn web-based tools and marketing management platforms

  • E-Commerce experience

  • Ability to work on a diverse team or with a diverse range of coworkers

The Role As a marketing specialist, you will be involved in planning, executing and measuring the performance of marketing campaigns for third-party Amazon Selling Partners. This includes marketing campaigns and/or content creation across multiple global regions and a variety of channels. You will work with and become a product expert on our lending program. In addition, you will analyze engagement and channel metrics to track results and develop insights to optimize performance. Primary responsibilities * Develop and execute marketing campaigns that support our Lending offers worldwide through various channels (email, site, direct mail, paid) * Create and manage content across variety of customer-facing assets including landing pages * Work closely with the marketing and product teams on program development and implementation * Manage content management system * Analyze data to determine customer insights and to optimize content * Ensure creative marketing materials undergo regular review and adhere to brand guidelines * Contribute to marketing plans * Develop and maintain necessary playbooks and standard operating procedures * BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience * 3+ years' experience with marketing * Ability to execute on immediate needs, while thinking beyond to future opportunities * Eager to take on new strategies to support the business * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills * Ability to formulate insights from data and provide recommendations * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritization, planning, and task delegation * Experience with business analysis and expertise in Excel * Salesforce or Pardot experience preferred * Ambition to progressively become self-sufficient in identifying opportunities for improvement and build strategic programs from such opportunities * Experience in a "customer-first" environment, with a passion for uncovering insights and translating them into actionable projects / programs * Ability to think and react in a high-pressure environment Amazon.Com, Inc.
