Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market.

As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets the needs of users. Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer specifications for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Excellent written and verbal communication. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Thrives in fast paced environment Team player. Experience using or implementing Oracle, SAP, or Peoplesoft applications. 5 years related experience and BA/BS degree in marketing or technical major preferred.

Oracle Cloud Business Group reports directly into the CEO. We perform core product marketing function for the company and have the responsibility of setting Oracle market strategy for Oracle public cloud including SaaS, PaaS and IaaS, as well as converged infrastructure and Industry vertical solutions. We lead the company's transition to cloud. We design, develop and deploy go to market strategies that are aligned with the selling organization, and partner with engineering on product roadmaps and requirements.

Job responsibilities and activities

  • Perform strategic analysis to help product marketing leaders drive growth initiatives

  • Support one or several of Oracle's industry solution verticals, including and not limited to communications, financial services, healthcare, Hi-education, manufacturing, and etc.

  • Perform segmentation analyses based on internal and external data sets

  • Conduct market sizing and competitive market analyses using primary and secondary research

  • Drive thought leadership and marketing messaging for a given industry vertical and an industry solution offer

  • Package analyses for actionable recommendations to executive leadership

Preferred skills, experience, background

  • Highly analytical and strategic individual

  • MBA preferred

  • 2-5 years of experience in product marketing and management consulting

  • Ability to frame the question, design the analytical approach and synthesize a large volume of data into insights

  • Superior skills in written and verbal executive facing presentation

  • Proficiency with data visualization technology is a plus

VIEW JOBS 11/19/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-17T00:00 Overview: POSITION SUMMARY: As the Product Manager, Urology Marketing ("PM"), you will report to the Senior Product Manager, Urology Marketing ("SPM"), and be responsible for providing comprehensive support across the entire spectrum of strategy and promotional marketing activity. In this role, you will maintain specific vendor relationships, create hard-copy and digital assets, and support market research activities. You will also participate in other strategic and promotional related projects associated with educating key customers and supporting analytics. To be successful in this role, you will be detailed oriented, have the ability to carry out multiple tasks in parallel and work collaboratively with involved stakeholders. Competitive candidates will possess relevant experience in diagnostic, urology and/or oncology marketing, with a demonstrated ability to master complex scientific material and convey these concepts to physicians, patients and internal stakeholders in a compelling and understandable manner. Given the matrix environment of the Marketing Department, you will interface with multiple internal and external parties, including Genomic Health's strategic partners. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are essential. The Product Manager should enjoy working in an ever-changing office environment, have a "can-do" attitude, and effectively collaborate across the organization and cross-functionally, to gain alignment when needed. RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES: RESPONSIBILITIES * Under the direction of the Senior Product Manager, you will support key analytics, the development of promotional materials, and other relevant activities. * You will be responsible for tools and programs focused on specialty audiences (e.g. urologists, surgeons, pathologists, urology fellows, diagnostic radiologists, radiation oncologists) that can influence Oncotype DX ordering. * You will have the opportunity to work directly with internal stakeholders, including but not limited to: Sales, Training, Corporate Communications, Medical Affairs, Sales Ops and Corporate Review Teams, on a wide range of projects. * You will handle questions and requests related to department programs and functions and be expected to keep current on all technical and clinical data associated with the assay. * You will prepare verbal & written requests and other information to internal and external parties on a routine basis. * Using basic outlines and directions, you will create departmental memoranda and presentations, as needed. You will coordinate regulatory & legal review of new or revised promotional materials in a timely fashion and work closely with outside vendors to manage inventory of promotional tools.
