Job Description Job Description For candidates open to relocation, this is a hybrid opportunity based in our Corporate Headquarters in Port Washington, New York. Job Summary:

The Product Marketing Manager defines, develops, and execute the positioning, messaging, asset creation, and go-to-market strategies for WAC Lighting’s Functional Lighting products . The P roduct Marketing Manager oversees our product launch programs and partner integrations. This focus includes driving product launches; researching personas and use cases; creating product messaging and collateral; developing our joint value proposition and case studies with partners; and evangelizing WAC Lighting’s offerings to partners and prospects. The Product Marketing Manager works cross-functionally with the Sales, Sales Operations, R&D, Product Management, and Marketing teams.

The ideal candidate leverages data and a strong connection to the customer to deliver an elevated, long-term return on investment. Additionally, the individual in this role manages the content creation of new marketing assets and is an Expert on the usage and deployment of new and existing Functional Lighting products. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Define and drive strategy for Product Positioning through the identification of key differentiators and target demographics across multiple Brands and Sales Channels including, but not limited to, Specification, Showroom, Integration, Hospitality, and E-Commerce. Build a marketing strategy that supports new Functional Lighting products throughout the entire product life cycle . Conduct and manage research on target markets, including addressable market size and competitive opportunities that influence Go-To-Market strategy. Provide analysis and ROI for new product launches across all Brands.

Own responsibility for achieving micro KPIs such as Leads and Web Traffic on New Product Launches , and work cross functionally in partnership with sales and product management, to achieve macro Revenue Goals. Leverage data to develop actionable insights that generate demand. Develop highly effective, accurate, and consistent Sales Enablement materials including Data Sheets, Specification Sheets, Application Shots, Websites, Product Brochures, and Training Materials.

Produce and deliver content for webinars, events, and speaking opportunities. Maintain well-versed knowledge in product offerings to participate in industry events as well as lead demos and tours at Tradeshows . Work with partners to discover and define joint value propositions, use cases, and co-marketing campaigns. Provide in-office and on-site tradeshow support including speaking engagements, sample coordination, booth tours, development of product recommendations, and product design storylines to drive Functional Product Sales.

Identify and report on marketing segmentation to maximize success and provide recommendations for new marketing campaigns leading to future growth. Drive sales, educate, and build our Functional Product Brands through marketing levers and a strong understanding of the Marketplace. Understand the needs of sales teams to create, remove or improve sales enablement tools . Manage the content creation process and its timely delivery to the marketplace.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or above in Marketing, Business, or a closely related field of study. 3 years of Lighting Industry experience in a Product Marketing Leadership Role with strong lighting marketplace knowledge , and high level Technical Lighting Product knowledge . 5 years of B2B product marketing or strategic marketing experience with manufactured Technical Lighting Products . Ability to understand Technical product attributes and translate them into meaningful customer messaging. Proven accountability for ROI in a fast, metrics-driven environment. Strong applied data analytics skills.

Advanced interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Attention to detail with a bias for action. Proven ability to effectively present to, and collaborate with, individuals across all levels of the organization.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and juggle multiple competing tasks and demands. Proven reputation of being resourceful, flexible, and self-directed with the motivation to solve complex problems High level organizational and project management skills Ability and willingness for up to 25% travel to the Port Washington, New York headquarters. Ability and willingness to travel to WAC’s Asia manufacturing facilities as well as domestic and international Trade Shows.

The expected salary is $90,000-120,000 per year. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors allowed by law.
