The Product Marketing Manager will: Define and execute the value Proposition & Product positioning which will include:
Defining and executing the strategic positioning against the competition, within the Elekta solutions portfolio and alternative treatment modalities across all markets
Developing the competitive value proposition and messaging for the Elekta's software products relying on domain & market knowledge and competitor insights in line with the COF model (Clinical Operational Financial) and for identified key target groups / stakeholders
Identifying and developing solid proof points to support the value proposition, product positioning, and messaging
Coordinating and leveraging internal and external expert resources (e.g. focus groups, advisors, etc.) to validate and continually improve the value proposition, messaging, product positioning, related strategies, and deliverables
Working closely with the Strategy and Portfolio, Regional Marketing, Sales Management, and Global Marketing Communications to develop innovative vehicles to deliver key messages to defined customer segments & target markets
Participate & support cross-functional commercialization activities (pre, during and post commercial launch), working closely with the cross-functional team, and lead overall commercialization management activities as Commercialization Manager as needed. Overall responsibility for the Value Proposition & Messaging activities
Content development for sales tools & campaigns for the Elekta software portfolio
Including but not limited to all product literature, Power Points, white papers, case studies, supporting thought leadership, peer-review articles, objection handling support, FAQ support work with Strategic & Regional Marketing counterparts to implement minor adaptations of sales materials to suit regional markets
Assist with on going competitive review and analysis; leverage learning to modify and adapt messaging, communications & positioning.
Work with Portfolio & Regional Marketing counterparts and E&T team to produce content & facilitate product training & other enablement activities for the sales teams (and other internal key stakeholders), incl. products, key selling points, sales tools, learning management system modules, etc.
Interact with other marketing teams as well as the Innovation organization to understand and ensure appropriate coordination and alignment of activities
Provide support & offer expertise to the rest of the Product Marketing team to reinforce the value proposition of solutions & product bundles outside of region
Define Clinical Marketing for the definition and development of key clinical marketing collateral & output
Work closely with Strategy and Portfolio to provide content and support development & execution of strategic plans
Work closely with Global Marcom for the definition and development of marcom activities (marcom materials, PR/media relations, events and tradeshows, web pages digital media activities, etc.)
Work closely with the Innovation team, Regions, Medical Affairs and other key stakeholders to understand the market's needs, unsolved problems, and pain points, and assist with defining portfolio development priorities
Orchestrate the commercialization activities and manage the cross-functional implementation of the process, including overall project management and pre-launch, launch and post-launch activities, e.g.
Pre-launch: e.g., establish launch team and detailed project plans (both for the different sub-projects and for the overall launch on a global and regional level), and allocating roles and responsibilities; product marketing, including value proposition, claims and linked proof points; positioning in the Elekta portfolio and vs competing modalities/technologies; commercial naming; development of sales tools in collaboration with other key functions, e.g. other marketing functions and solution areas
Launch: launch events and related activities (PR/media, marcom, trainings, etc.)
Post-launch: e.g. continued support for global rollout; ongoing improvement of value proposition and messaging, and related sales tools and enablers; 3, 6, 12 and 18 month follow up of launch results, including analysis of performance compared to initial business case, and post-mortem analysis
Project management and follow up: e.g. identification of project interdependencies and activities on the critical line; continuous monitoring of progress and management of launch plan related measures (e.g. activities, deliverables, resources, budgets) and reporting of these; liaise with key stakeholders (internal and external) on an ongoing basis to ensure activities are progressing
Internal communication and engagement activities throughout process to ensure sufficient support to, and involvement and support from key stakeholders, e.g. IAN's, advisory/reference groups Order Growth; responsibility for the income growth of the portfolio and profitable market share growth, ensuring that that stakeholders are engaged and driving portfolio sales and that KPI's are established, measured and communicated and any material financial risks are identified and highlighted with counteractive actions implemented
End-to-End product responsibility along assigned product lifecycle
Contribute to a product strategy based on market, customer, and competitor analysis in line with portfolio and solution strategy.
Support the generation of business cases for the region
Collection of product market requirements.
Keep current on competitor products and key market drivers
Support Portfolio by assisting with translation of market requirements into solution configurations across hardware, software and services based on a minimal viable product approach.
Coordinate product and service feature improvements based on market feedback together with D&E, service and marketing (e.g., customer pain points).
Contribute to DtV agenda across all relevant functions to maximize profit.
Monitor delivery of products according to product specification, on-time, within budget and quality
Manage product lifecycle decisions (EOS,EOGS,EOL) together with Regional Marketing and
Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent is required.
Master's degree and/or MBA or equivalent is highly desirable.
Substantial experience in product marketing and/or product management experience within the healthcare sector..
Experience in Healthcare IT & Radiation Oncology is preferred.
Excellent skills in verbal and written communication in Mandarin and English, other languages are a bonus.
Product knowledge for the designated portfolio is an advantage
