About Disperse:

Disperse exists to unlock the future of building.

The implications of constructions productivity issues are far-reaching and complex, touching everything from social problems, like affordable housing shortages, to sustainability and environmental challenges, like emissions and waste from project overruns and rework. At Disperse, we are tackling these challenges in a fundamentally unique and practical way by combining the latest in cutting-edge machine learning and data analytics with field-tested human expertise.

We are a team of experts in our fields, with backgrounds from across industries like technology, construction, architecture, engineering and consulting, working to help construction evolve with the help of building productivity solutions. We provide construction projects with a processing engine that captures the project's state of play, and then transforms, analyzes and integrates the resultant data into contractors and real-estate developers systems and workflows, helping to unlock productivity gains and mitigate risks.

Disperse is backed by world-renowned investors like Northzone and 2150, with solutions deployed across scores of construction projects in the UK and the US, including on flagship developments of industry leaders like Gilbane, AECOM Tishman, Multiplex, Meyer Bergman, Lodha, Mace, and Canary Wharf Contractors. You should have 4-6 years of experience working in a product marketing role at a B2B technology firm, preferably in a start-up or scale-up environment. A BA/BS degree is required, and were looking for strong public speaking, presentation, and communication skills. Understanding of construction and real estate development is a plus, but not required.

You should be courageous in the face of the ambiguity that is natural in startups and scale-ups - this is not a paint by numbers role. We want people who are comfortable making decisions on the fly and leading from the front. You should be eager to solve tough problems, but also comfortable taking the time to define the tough problems before you even begin to solve them.

Critical thinking, ruthless prioritization, a relentless drive to succeed and deep intellectual curiosity are prerequisites for success in this role. You must have an ownership mentality. Were here to move the needle and change an industry, and to build a lasting company thats capable of continuing that mission, which means autonomy is key - we need drivers, not passengers.

You must be a team player who is comfortable putting ego aside, agile and action-oriented in your approach, and unafraid of giving and receiving direct feedback and open communication. You should feel totally comfortable telling your manager when you disagree with something, but equally vulnerable and willing to admit when you dont know something.
