The marketing team is focused on driving growth for Carta by increasing brand awareness and generating demand for our products and services for companies, investors, lawyers, and employees.
We're looking for a Product Marketing Manager to focus on go-to-market strategy for one of our audiences (early or late-stage private companies, VCs, or lawyers). You'll work on positioning and messaging, launch plans, sales enablement, and personas, audience, and competitive research for this audience. And you'll work cross-functionally with product, sales, and growth marketing to drive demand and engagement for our products and services.
Collaboration with product: You'll work with closely with the product teams in your audience segment to understand the roadmap, features, and audience
Positioning and messaging: Craft positioning and messaging for your audience, products, and features, working with the product team to define value propositions and use cases
Product launches: Collaborate on launch strategy (timelines, messaging, channel strategy) for all product releases within your audience
Research: Conduct persona, audience, and competitive research as needed to better inform positioning, messaging, and go-to-marketing strategy
Enablement: Partner with content marketing and sales trainings team to create the collateral they need to close new business and drive expansion revenue
Education: Work with our content marketing team to make sure we have the blog and educational content needed to drive demand and engagement for our products
Campaigns: Work with our growth marketing leads (also assigned to audiences) to develop campaigns across channels (in-product, email, web tests, ads, etc) that drive demand for our existing products and features
2-3+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on product marketing
Experience in SaaS, preferably in Finance or Fintech
Marketing generalist with an understanding of marketing channels and how to communicate with audiences across these channels
Cross-functional mindset and comfortable working with product teams to understand the market and define requirements and plan product launches
Highly organizedyou can plan and manage a product launch, and not miss a detail
