Product Marketing Director, OneID

As the Product Marketing Director, OneID, you will be part of the OneID Leadership Team focused on building and promoting our world class identity resolution platform that connects people, places and things at scale, with a high degree of certainty. In this role, you will collaborate with Neustar's OneID Team and Business Unit Leaders (e.g. Marketing, Risk, Security, etc.) to ensure OneID is positioned as our key differentiator and foundation of all solutions sold at Neustar.

This position requires a strategic, analytical, mindset and ability to execute tactical plans that drive targeted business outcomes. Strategically, you must be capable of segmenting the market, performing rigorous competitive analysis to identify opportunities, and lead development of plans to promote our USP and secure industry leadership. Tactically, you will be required to lead the effort to execute your plans to drive internal and external product marketing programs that achieve targeted outcomes. This is a hands on role that will be involved in plan development, content creation, training and certification, sales support, and when necessary, solution sales.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated an ability to develop product marketing strategies and execute those strategies to achieve measurable outcomes. The candidate should have outstanding business acumen and a deep knowledge of identity as a service (IDaaS) and data as a service (DaaS) in support of multiple horizontal use cases (e.g. marketing, risk, security and communications).

Meet the Team

In this role you will be joining the OneID Team, which is foundational to all Neustar services. The OneID team is tasked to deliver industry leading identity resolution across people, places and things. Our North star is to continually deepen scale and certainty of our identity solutions, enabling industry leading identity resolution and data services for various applications such as marketing, risk, security and various communication services.

What You'll Bring

  • Deep understanding of the identity as a service (IDaaS) and data as a service (DaaS) market and use cases supporting marketing, risk, security and communications

  • Experience leading product marketing programs in support of marketing, risk, security and various communications services (e.g. directory listings, caller ID)

  • Track record of developing enterprise training and certification of go-to market teams that has driven successful and measurable outcomes, experience in training technical people a plus

  • Demonstrable track record of producing impactful solution content that is able to accelerate the sales cycle and close deals

  • Experience in product marketing plan development, execution, analyst relations, crisis communications and mitigation

  • Deep understanding of the enterprise sales process and issues that salespeople must combat in order to close deals

  • Highly personable, affable person who is able to collaborate, influence and lead in a matrix environment to achieve targeted business outcomes (high EQ)

  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis, strategic planning, rigorous competitive analysis, competitive game theory and response mitigation, and crisis communications (high IQ)

  • Demonstrable track record and references that would corroborate claimed ability and accomplishments

  • Deep passion for the field and high level of intellectual curiosity, interested in all perspectives

  • Outstanding communication skills, with an aptitude to conduct quantitative analysis, learn technical concepts, and simplify the communication to audiences of various backgrounds

  • Super can-do and cool attitude, self starter

Role Requirements and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in the digital identity space, either for marketing (e.g. ad tech), risk (e.g. device profiling), or security (e.g. threat intelligence)

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing or marketing, with a track record of achieving quantitative outcomes that drive business fundamentals

  • Bachelor of science in computer science or other technical field desired, bachelor of arts in marketing or business acceptable; MBA from a top tier school highly desired and prioritized

  • Ability to travel 25% of the time

  • IAB certification is a plus


  • May be located near any Neustar office location, such as Chicago, McLean, VA, San Diego, San Francisco, New York; virtual location will be considered for exceptional talent

Responsibilities The Community Business Director (CBD) is responsible for managing and supervising the business office functions at the community. This position serves as the community's primary resource for handling and managing questions/inquiries from residents and their families as well as from our own employees related to, among other things, cash receipts, billing, vendor payments, expenses, payroll and benefits. The CBD also coordinates and assists with maintaining accurate employee payroll and benefits data and is expected to be able to explain and instruct employees regarding benefit options. * Maintains and oversees specific processes for the collection and maintenance of resident data, which includes resident statement accuracy, review of resident agings, confirming level of care to billing accuracy, and resident demographic information. * Responsibly manages and supervises all front desk/clerical personnel including scheduling, assignment, direction, performance review (including input on pay adjustments), hiring and discipline consistent with company policy. * Assists the Executive Director with managing the community's operation by utilizing independent judgment and discretion to review and advise on billing issues, expenditures and budgetary matters for the community. * Manages and directs all accounts receivable, to include pursuit and follow-up of unpaid balances. * Ensures correct coding of the community's accounts payable and accrues expenses as needed. * Directs collection of on-site employee data related to, among other things, demographics, payroll, employee benefits and employee leave administration. Ensures employee files are maintained in accordance with Atria's policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and local regulations. * Primary community responsibility for assistance with month-end close process. This would include, among other things, accrual preparation and analysis of general ledger/monthly operating statements. Works with Executive Director to fully understand operating results and trends. * Diligently works toward the completion of special projects, request, and assignments as appropriate. * Serves as the community's "manager-on-duty" on a regular basis. * Assists in sales process by conducting inquiry tours as necessary. * May drive company vehicle from community to social and other various destinations (only if required by community). * May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned. Qualifications * Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or a related field and two (2) years of experience with business office functions; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Three (3) to five (5) years in business office management, finance or accounting preferred. * Working knowledge of general accounting, billing and collections and expense management practices. * Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws. * Able to clearly present information through the spoken word. Can accurately communicate, providing the necessary level of detail even under stressful or demanding conditions.
