Product Marketing Director Support and Deployment Services

As a part of the Global Support & Deployment Product Group, this Product Marketing Director will manage a team of Product Marketing Managers, each aligned to the portfolios of Global Support & Deployment Product Group. You will be responsible for overseeing the quality and clarity of the positioning, messaging, storytelling, collateral, online content and sales enablement materials for our portfolio of services. In addition, this person must be able to oversee launch strategies and marketing plans. You will also help the team develop the connections and relationships required in with the Enterprise hardware product marketing teams, global and regional marketing teams to ensure our services message is integrated into all messaging, launches, campaigns and event content. Finally, this director will work closely with the Services product management counterparts to advise on portfolio and offer positioning, claim development and offer naming

Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into customer benefits is crucial. You will be expected to become an expert on the portfolio, the long term strategy and vision, the market and competition and be able to translate this knowledge into high-impact materials that clearly communicate the value of our products to the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all messaging and naming activities for the portfolio.

  • Ensure the team is creating high-impact internal and customer-facing materials that clearly communicate the value and unique advantage of our services and website content to drive sales through clear, high-impact product information

  • Establish our external taxonomy in cooperation with the product management team

  • Understand the product marketing landscape for the relevant services

  • Understand the hardware product details to engage and provide services value and point of view to augment the total solution story

  • Collect feedback from regional marketing teams on assets that would be useful for them in executing various campaigns.

  • Develop end to end go-to-market plan including sales training. Strong collaboration with our field marketing CoC team to develop a complete

  • Sales enablement communicate the value proposition of the products and develop the sales training and tools that support the selling process

  • Sales awareness develop unique sales awareness campaigns for strategic offers

  • Product Launch Support the launch activities on the roadmap in accordance with our marketing BOM

  • Integration into the enterprise hardware product marketing and messaging teams

Requirements

  • Outstanding messaging ability and a proven portfolio of marcom and sales enablement materials

  • Outstanding technical acumen

  • Experience developing integrated marketing plans

  • High degree of intellectual horsepower

  • Requires prior management experience

  • 15+ years of relevant work experience, including managing teams
