The primary purpose of the Product Marketing Advisor is to lead development of a global product marketing strategy for the tablet segment of the whole portfolio and execute against that strategy through vertical, field and channel marketing resources while building and maintaining a marketing competitive advantage in region. Working with a cross-functional team, the incumbent will be responsible for immersing themselves in the competitive and commercial tablet marketplace, developing, positioning, and messaging go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, and competitive analysis. Some responsibilities will include strategic planning, providing valuable input regarding the market and engage in product management functions for the portfolio of products.


  • Act as global marketing's single point of contact for a portion of the company's overall portfolio in region to various stakeholders internal and external.

  • Own product reinvigorate, refresh and retire programs, working in alignment with vertical marketing leads, channel marketing managers and field marketing managers

  • Accountable for selective activation of global product marketing sourced content in marquee horizontal media outlets & events and targeted activation of inbound digital (SEO/SEM) campaigns for top tier products critical to the regional annual P&L.

  • Guide AR, PR, Social, Corp comms programs for tablet. Ensure we deliver on strategy & messaging for products at key events.

  • Responsible for monitoring and driving organizational response to primary competitors' regional marketing campaigns, messaging, etc.

  • Lead regional marketing participation on product launch calls (global and regional) to ensure regional GTM readiness from a marketing perspective.

  • Influence promotional, incentive and rebate strategy in region as part of a holistic GTM plan to accelerate pipeline and drive additional commercial focus where needed in alignment with the overall GTM plan for the portfolio

  • Manage content creative from inception through delivery

  • Comprehensive portfolio-specific regional GTM marketing

  • Portfolio pipeline marketing influenced & driven

  • Successful seller adoption of enablement materials

  • Voice of customer o.b.o region into global product marketing team

  • Impactful portfolio-specific, cross-vertical initiatives in region


  • Preferred Education:

  • BA/BS degree in relatable field

  • Preferred Work Experience (years):

  • 8+ years of product marketing and/or comparable product management, development experience with the PC and/or Tablet market.

POSITION SUMMARY: As Direct Marketing Product Manager, Nutritional Supplements you're number one objective is to grow the sales and profitability of our nutritional supplement product line. The role requires a combination of product / brand management as well as direct marketing. You will "own" or be responsible for everything having to do with the products from positioning, packaging, fulfillment to advertising, marketing, customer satisfaction and more. This is a full-time role and you'll report directly to me, the CEO. There are no direct reports, however you will be working very closely with our existing teams. You must be able to get things done through others as well as execute on your own. So the role is a mix of directing, managing and executing. You can't be afraid to get your hands dirty! The role can be virtual / remote or you can work in our Austin, TX office. If working remotely you must be able to prove you have been able to produce excellent results in that environment in the past. You will be required to travel several times a year for executive team meetings, our annual company retreat and other relevant seminars, events, etc. Travel is all paid for by the company. You'll be responsible for: * Oversee / manage everything related to products (positioning, package, pricing, marketing, advertising, etc) * Increasing sales and profits of existing product line (via existing channels: online direct response, e-commerce and print catalog as well as testing new channels) * Developing and launching new products (working with product development team) * P+L responsibility for product line * Market research (trends, customers, competitors, etc) * Analyzing all data to optimize performance * Increasing customer acquisition * Increasing customer value * Improving consumer education (content marketing) * Improving customer satisfaction TO BE CONSIDERED YOU MUST… HAVE STRONG EXPERIENCE IN THESE AREAS: * 5 or more years as Product Marketing Manager (or similar role) * P+L management ($10mill+) * Proven track record of growing sales and profits * Direct to consumer, direct response marketing online * Consumer packaged goods (ideally nutritional supplements) HAVE "EXPERT" LEVEL SKILL IN THESE AREAS: * Excellent analytical skills (financial analysis, competitive intelligence, market research) * Data manipulation and analysis (Microsoft Excel / Access / SQL, v-lookups, pivot tables, complex formulas, etc) * Project management - ability to manage multiple projects with different resources, priorities and timelines * Ability to work independently without significant supervision.
