Our content production team creates professional certifications, online trainings, and live workshops, and we're seeking our next team member!

The Role:

The Product Managing Editor will be responsible for developing new DigitalMarketer's online courses and certifications, continually updating our existing library of courses to ensure their quality and relevance, and leading a growing team of both internal and external contributors and subject matter experts. This role will also work closely with the Product Team to improve and update our product library of workshops, execution plans, office hours, and jumpstart packs.

This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of new course content (courses and certifications) and updates
  • Work with the Product team to plan, schedule, and execute a variety of overlapping productions while continuing to meet imperative deadlines
  • Collaborate with discipline-specific SMEs in developing course content, course outline, assessments, and multimedia for new and existing courses
  • Implement best practices in e-learning and instructional design
  • Quality check all content before distribution to ensure it meets best in class standards
  • Manage and distribute assignments to external contributors
  • Work with the Customer Care and Development teams to identify and resolve any technical and non-technical issues related to courses
  • Occasionally hire, manage, and lead external contractors

Requirements

  • Proven track record of content creation
  • Demonstrated experience with course/curriculum development, preferably in the e-learning and/or marketing industries
  • Experience working with and managing subject matter experts and contributors
  • Knowledge of course curriculum and instructional design best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple overlapping projects at the same time
  • Must be highly organized, self-motivated and comfortable managing our constantly shifting flow of projects, schedules and people
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to represent the company both to customers and business partners
