We're entrepreneurial, value oriented decision makers who drive the development of the world-class software products that power Wayfair's transformation of retail for home. We create experiences that make Wayfair a delightful place to shop, establish new and innovative services for customers, and build the backbone of Wayfair's pricing, merchandising, supply chain, and enterprise operations. Whether on desktop, mobile web, or app, or any of our proprietary internal platforms, we leverage data, user-centric design, machine learning, and Agile to exceed customer expectations and achieve operational excellence, fueling company growth. Our work requires us to move fast and collaborate with some of the best engineers, creatives, data scientists, operators, and analysts to discover, build, and scale world-class software products.

What You'll Do

  • You will identify next gen solutions to dramatically scale 3D model production, while working to iterate the solutions and establish impact quickly

  • Work with engineering to translate the solutions into product

  • Work across the aisle (3D Ops, 3D Creative, Swatch team), taking the time to understand the underlying business processes and problems that other teams are facing and coming up with practical, but strategic solutions to their needs

  • Shadow and discuss with users across Model production process (3D Modelers, QA, Suppliers) to understand their needs and challenges

  • You will take a platform approach to the solutions without compromising the MVP view of launching and creating impact fast

  • You will work with internal product team members to align on the cross tool dependencies and resolve the execution approach

  • Coach and mentor junior product team members to maintain a high bar of excellence

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of product management experience in successfully launching consumer facing products with clear business impact

  • You have the ability to think both creatively and critically; you're willing to think outside the box, while also fairly evaluating all solutions in making strategic decisions.

  • Comfortable with challenging the status quo (we don't want someone who just likes "keeping the lights on")

  • Comfortable with ambiguity, creating clarity from the fog of numerous requests and avenues to take

  • Track record of success in developing relationships with stakeholders, working collaboratively and leveraging influence to drive multi-departmental projects.

  • Comfortable interacting with engineering and have good understanding of agile methodology

  • Engineering undergrad degree; Masters/ MBA plus
