Showcasing excellence and innovation at every stage, Product Management is responsible for the cross-functional management of products or solutions through their entire lifecycle. Using a wealth of technical and industry experience, we work across functional areas to implement our products or solutions. We undertake thorough analysis of the markets to ensure we maximize profitability and adjust our product strategies to respond to competition. Our role also involves acting as subject matter experts for internal and external product events or partner meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages products/features through their entire life cycle, and supports decisions regarding enhancements throughout the lifecycle until product End of Life (EOL)

  • Prioritizes features and specifications, applying budget, timeline and other constraints

  • Supports business case for enhancements or new products

  • Leads requirements gathering and management; provides simple interpretation

  • Collaborates with other Product Managers, BU Leaders and Engineering/R&D leaders to align product strategies into comprehensive portfolios for the BU

  • Reviews product/solution evaluation metrics from multiple sources and ensures they are incorporated in future versions

  • Supports preparation for external and internal product events

Essential Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Security & Compliance landscape (Encryption, Federal Certifications, Authentication, etc.)

  • Strong technology/engineering skills relating to design, test and quality

  • Strong understanding of business goals and objectives as they relate to customer use cases and solutions

  • Understands competitors and their products as well as potential partner relationships for the product along with Business Development

  • Enterprise Storage protocols, such as iSCSI, FC, NFS, CIFS, Object, NVMe, SAS, etc.

  • Security & Compliance standards (FIPS, APL, KMIP, TLS, etc.)

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to explain complex technology concepts into simple and intuitive communications

  • 8+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor's degree; or 6+ years with a Master's degree; or 3+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience

Desirable Requirements

  • Ability to travel in order to support customer events, executive briefings, and trade shows

  • Ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences

In today's market it is not enough to offer a leading, innovative storage product. Customers are mandating quick deployment and simple integrations to their current environments. To be successful, a storage product must support a robust ecosystem, supporting a wide range of plugins and solutions. The Ecosystem Product Manager will hold the strategic role of defining integration roadmaps and strategies with VMWare, Kubernetes, Ansible, Oracle, Microsoft, along with the vast internal product portfolio that makes up Dell Technologies, such as Data Protection products, Converged Infrastructure solutions and others. Responsibilities: * Lead, prioritize, and define the products Ecosystem Roadmap, taking into account business needs, customer requests, resources, time constraints, and different roadmap timelines * Follow internal and external partners roadmaps and new feature releases to identify additional joint value propositions. * Definition and documentation of detailed requirements and specifications for the above. * Build and manage relationships with Peer Product Managers and Architects of the integrated solutions. * Define and build Solutions, supporting the Marketing, Sales and Services organizations. * Working closely with Dell EMC product teams and engineering to plan and execute integration and/or support of the new midrange product. * Interfacing with internal stake holders, customers, partners and Sales to understand the market requirements and to support sales efforts. * Define and build metrics to track the adoption rates of our plugins and solutions. Qualifications: * At least 3 years of Product Management or Solution development experience * Experience in defining and leading integration strategies - an advantage * Knowledge of Dell storage and data protection products * Knowledge of leading technologies found in today's modern data center: VMWare, Containers, Kubernetes, Oracle, SQL Server and Big Data - an advantage * Familiarity with data center automation tools and strategies - an advantage * Leading cross business units projects – an advantage * Excellent communications skills - writing, presenting, speaking, listening. * Assertive personality and ability to achieve results in a matrix organization * Team player and ability to work independently with partners and customers * Passion for technology and an attitude of doing whatever it takes to get things done * Must be able to travel to Israel from time to time * Relevant B.Sc. degree (preferably computer science); MBA – an advantage "LIPriority" Dell is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
