Are you eager to work in the dynamic Security market and have the passion to make a difference in this space? If yes, we have an immediate requirement for a Product Manager to lead and drive growth for the Advanced Threat Prevention portfolio at Juniper. Juniper's security strategy is anchored in Software Defined Secure Networks (SDSN) a unified cybersecurity framework that includes the best-of-breed SRX Next Generation Firewall product line, Advanced Threat Prevention, Security Director and Contrail Security.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product strategy for the Advanced Threat Prevention product portfolio and related product lines

  • Identify customer pain points by distilling input from customers, sales and industry trends

  • Define customer needs and requirements by authoring MRDs and user stories; work closely with other product managers and engineering teams

  • Engage with marketing to drive awareness and demand for product and solutions

  • Work with Finance teams to price products and solutions optimally

  • Work closely with GTM teams to support revenue opportunities and evangelize the products and solutions

  • Evaluate complementary and competitive products, technologies and solutions

  • Enable and drive technology partnerships with our partner ecosystem

  • Manage the complete product lifecycle

Experience/Skills

  • Excellent understanding of the cybersecurity market with trends, customer deployment models, monetization models; well versed in network security technologies

  • Strong desire and ability to communicate with customers to understand their challenges and communicate a product vision

  • Excellent presenter, great 360 degree collaboration, high-energy personality

  • At least 2-4 years of product management experience building enterprise grade products

  • Expertise in firewalls, threat intelligence and threat prevention is highly desired

  • Experience with cloud-delivered security services is a plus

  • Must have a BA/BS degree, MBA preferred

We evaluate a broad range of technologies including distributed processing, virtualized environments and isolation of unsecure code. You will lead, expand and architect the security offerings and feature in our products to enable Equinix to be the market leader with valuable, category of one and differentiated security features in its products. This includes our portfolio of products and Equinix SmartKey offerings. Your real passion for security, ability to connect with and encourage your team, and in-depth knowledge of product security will ensure that you deliver high impact results. Responsibilities * Drive DevSecOps strategy and execution including tools selection and architecture for static application security testing (SAST scanning), dynamic application security testing ( DSAT scanning) and manual penetration testing. * Incorporate scanning and remediation of OWASP Top-10 security controls and vulnerabilities in the DevSecOps planning and execution. * Drive third party library and platform deployments to be safe against CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and exposures) database. * Integrate tools like TruffleHogg, NexusIQ, SonarQube, App Spider etc in the DevOps CI/CD pipelines. * Reviewing current system security measures and recommending and architecting enhancements * Conducting regular system tests and ensuring continuous monitoring of network, product, infrastructure and tools & platform security * Craft and communicate to customers a compelling narrative about our products' security architecture * Explain our implementation of security controls to customers' auditors * Security Engineering of user facing features, backend systems, secure-by-default libraries and security tooling * Work closely with CTO Office, product development, product engineering and info sec on various architectural and design aspects * Develop secure code practices for OWASPTop-10 and DevSecOps and provide hands-on training to developers and quality engineers * Evaluate application security tools for internal consumption Prototype new automation and tooling to improve our vulnerability detection and prevention capabilities * Assist with incident response when a security event occurs * Monitor CVEs of open-source software to quickly provide hot-fixes affecting Equinix products * Implement tools and development processes to reduce vulnerabilities in shipped products * Develop security KPI/metrics to track security issues and severity, along with time-to-resolution * Assist with responsible disclosure and bug bounty programs * Perform black-box penetration testing and code reviews of our services, product offerings * Participate in our incident response and vulnerability remediation efforts * Nurture a culture whereby security considerations are integral to product decisions and implementations Qualifications * Experience with application security testing in the area of DevSecOps, SAST, DAST and manual penetration testing. * Extensive experience in information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security, performance and reliability * Experience implementing multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, identity management or related technologies * Ability to educate a broad cross-section of personnel while explaining and implementing security measures * Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills as well as business insight and a commercial outlook * Demonstrated success and influence in the Product Security space * Experience defining security policy, technology requirements, and control objectives * Demonstrated experience crafting effective security strategies * Write defensive, maintainable code that solves real-world problems for our users * Experience in performing HW/SW threat analysis, security analysis and risk analysis * Previously held security role in professional environment * Has software engineering experience in production environment * Understanding of industry and regulatory security requirements, e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR * In depth knowledge of security control frameworks, e.g., NIST * Knowledge of a broad-spectrum range of attack vectors, exploits and mitigations. * B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related experience * Passion for finding flaws in software and can effectively communicate how to fix them * Ability to find creative ways of reducing risk of inherently insecure efforts * In-depth experience identifying and protecting against web application and web service security vulnerabilities including those found in the OWASP Top 10 and CWE Top 25 * Strong experience with secure programming practices * Ability to prioritize and track multiple projects in parallel * 5+ years of relevant experience in security architecture and design Equinix is an equal opportunity employer.
