It's an exciting time to work for ProQuest! We are seeking a Product Manager, Senior to support our Music and Arts products in our largest business unit, ProQuest Information Solutions. You'll be responsible for looking at ways to advance the user experience and engage our end-users. You'll be challenged to develop and execute a strategy that grows the business beyond the traditional application of our music and performing arts content.

This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a growing portfolio and develop content and tools that support music and arts programs in education.

What you'll be doing:

The Product Manager gathers market-driven requirements by consulting with customers, prospects, analysts, and other external resources to manage product delivery and lifecycles and achieve commercial objectives.

  • Get close to your customers so you develop an in-depth knowledge of market problems and how to solve for them

  • Create user stories for current and future products based on the market problems that you identify

  • Analyze market segments to choose the best ones to pursue.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as product marketing on how to position products for different markets and regions.

  • Manage all aspects of the product life cycle including testing new features/products and ideas with your customers and prospects

  • Own the content strategy for the product portfolio and work with partners like Smithsonian Folkways Recordings and the National Theatre (UK)

  • Evaluate the success of products in the market, and drive changes to our product and processes to create incremental improvements.

  • Evaluate and understand the market and where we fit including assessment of competitor products

  • The performing arts matter to you. Whether you have studied or performed professionally, are an enthusiastic amateur musician, or can recite all the lyrics to your favorite broadway performance in the shower, you have a passion for the music and performing arts.   • The ability to speak with and understand the needs of faculty and librarians regarding music and performing arts from the very start will be an advantage

Qualifications you need to be successful:

  • Bachelors' degree or higher in a related field, plus 3-5 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Business and Financial Knowledge:Able to maintain a view of the "big picture" of the project. An understanding of business drivers and key issues sees actions holistically and can execute them with minimal direction. Able to apply data analytics and business planning, ROI to matters of moderate complexity.

JOB SUMMARY The Senior Manager, Restaurant & Bar Development, Pure Grey is part of the Global Operations (GO) department, which is known for taking ideas into implementation across all brands, disciplines, and continents. This position is member of Pure Grey, an Independent Restaurant & Bar Consulting Group which is a part of GO Food & Beverage (F&B) department and reports to the Director, Culinary, Pure Grey. Pure Grey is an independent restaurant and bar entity operating as an extended business unit of Marriott International. Composed of seasoned operators, culinarians and restaurant experts with freestanding experience, the team focuses on the design, development and ongoing support of bespoke restaurant and bar concepts with local market appeal. The team specializes in high performing restaurants for luxury and lifestyle hotels in select, highly competitive markets. This role will be based in New York and has a 60% travel requirement. The Senior Manager, Restaurant & Bar Development will provide support in the following areas: * Concept Design, Development and Implementation - Supports the design of concept-focused food & beverage programs for Pure Grey projects * Restaurant and Bar Openings - Supports the development, preparation and deployment of restaurant and bar launch materials and pre-opening training programs * Restaurant and Bar Operations - Supports all food & beverage programs, operations and concept sustainment activities CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience Required: * 2- or 4- year degree from an accredited university in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or related major;
