Description

REMOTE POSITION

Job Summary: Lead our product strategy for HVAC products and manage their lifecycle from start to finish. Drive innovation, results, and cross-functional team coordination for exceptional market delivery. This role may involve managing direct reports.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes product strategy aligned with objectives, trends, and customer needs.

  • Defines and communicates roadmap, ensures alignment with goals and expectations.

  • Participates in management meetings to align stakeholders to the vision.

  • Manages product lifecycle to guarantee successful launches and market prosperity.

  • Serves as subject matter expert, managing product and regulatory matters.

  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and successful product launches.

  • Conducts market research to identify trends and innovation opportunities.

  • Creates market models for informed decisions on investments, pricing, and positioning.

  • Prepares business cases in support of product investments, identifies appropriate financial measures, and KPIs.

  • Monitors market share data, provides insights, and recommends enhancing competitive position.

  • Manages product pricing to maximize value capture in the marketplace.

  • Supports the development of sales selection software to optimize the sales process.

  • Collaborates with marketing to create compelling collateral and presentations.

  • Assists in the development of product training materials and participates in training sessions.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related technical field; MBA is preferred.

Proven experience (10+ years) in product management within the HVAC industry with a demonstrated ability to drive projects to successful completion.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Analytical with the ability to translate customer needs into clear product requirements.

  • Solid technical background in HVAC systems and product development.

  • Team player with effective collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.

  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC industry trends and regulations.

Work Environment:

  • Sitting for prolonged periods.

  • Requires periodic visits to manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.

  • Ability to travel 25-30% of the time.
