As a crucial member of our team, you, as the Product Manager, Source (PM), will play a pivotal role in managing the Product Life Cycle for JAGGAER's Sourcing solutions. This includes Strategic Sourcing for Indirect Spend, Advanced Sourcing Optimizer and Advanced Rates, 3 solutions that are at the core of JAGGAER's Source to Contract suite.

You will drive engagement with strategic customers, marketing, sales leadership, and analysts to identify market opportunities and secure and align product portfolio investments. Your contributions will be instrumental in the development of the product strategy and roadmap, requirement analysis, functional design, release planning, ongoing development support, and core go-to-market activities.

We are seeking a candidate who possesses a unique mix of business, technical, and procurement process know-how. Your solid drive to understand the challenges of the target markets and deliver innovative and profitable solutions will be key to your success in this role.

Principal Responsibilities

• Strategically manage the product roadmap to drive innovation and facilitate investment decisions, utilizing thorough business case analyses, that include Build/Buy/Partner analysis• Translate market demands into actionable product requirements, including problem statements, user personas, and scenarios.• Organize regular Subject Matter Expert (SME) and customer working groups to delve into functional requirements and everyday use cases, fostering deeper insights.• Foster collaboration among Product Managers to ensure alignment with overarching product strategy.• Effectively prioritize development requirements per business objectives and market demands, discerning critical and differentiating features to maximize JAGGAER's value• Create functional specifications for new features to aid development estimation and release planning.• Guide development and architecture teams throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure timely delivery and high quality.• Support the successful market launch of new and enhanced products by defining distinctive competencies, conducting internal training sessions, collaborating with product marketing and education teams for accurate documentation, and serving as a knowledgeable resource in sales and client interactions.• Be a credible product expert in sales calls, prospect, and client meetings.• Key measurement criteria will be based on strategic road-map development, successful product suite growth, and market segment revenue.

Position Requirements

What You Will Bring:• 10+ years of experience in procurement technology is desirable.• 2+ years of previous experience in Product Management roles is a must-have.• Demonstrated knowledge of the software development life cycle, agile methodologies, and Pragmatic Marketing.• High level of customer focus, establishing and maintaining good customer relationships as an organizational leader.• Analytic and strategic thinking, solid decision-making skills in the face of imperfect data.• Strong planning, written, and verbal communication skills (incl. public speaking & teaching).• Strong sense of ownership and dedication to accomplish goals and succeed.• Collaborate effectively with executives and around the business to reach a consensus on roadmap and deliverables.• Must have a track record of meeting or exceeding target goals.• Strong organizational skills, including demonstrated prioritization skills in a rapidly changing environment, are required.• Ability to support and manage global teams across time zones is required.• Ability to travel up to 10% is required.

You partner with the engineering lead to understand the technical feasibility of the solutions before the final design is created. You lead interactive working sessions with your Engineering counterparts to ensure that short and long-term design goals are achieved. You provide the long-term design vision for the feature and help break it down into incremental changes that can be worked on independently.
