What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the gathering, writing & management of requirements and acceptance criteria in Epics, User Stories & Tasks. Create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.

  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals

  • Develope release plans and set expectation for delivery of new features and functionality, as well Collect, analyze and test the statistical information and data for further presentation to technical and business stakeholders using diagrams, tables, charts, graphs, documents and reports.

Are You Qualified?

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience preferably with a major in business, marketing, economics, computer science or a related field

  • 2+ years experience in a role with strong requirements elicitation (Business Analyst, Technical Product Manager, consultant, etc.), and proven writing skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences

  • Experience with customer support and bug tracking

  • Experience and proficiency with business management tools JIRA, Confluence, Aha, and MS suite.

  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Creative thinker with a vision

  • Attention to details

The mission 80's for this role, are: * building, maintaining and managing all internal facing interactions * daily interaction with the project team (development, technical support and QA) * working with stakeholders to refine requirements Additional responsibilities of the role include: * Defines backlog * Creates actionable user stories for the development teams * Grooms and prioritizes the work in the backlog to adheres to roadmap timing * Approves the completed user stories to ensure product acceptance Collaborates and Aligns with the Product Manager on * Product feature requirements and scope * MVP and roadmap * User profiles and workflows * Market and mission * Communicates any changes to scope or schedule What You'll Be Doing * 3+ years of relevant Product Management, Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Beta Analyst experience in software product development environment * Ability to support Agile Scrum methodologies or waterfall methodologies * Experience in a role with strong requirements elicitation (Business Analyst, Technical Product Manager, consultant, etc.), and proven writing skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences * Experience with customer support and bug tracking * A minimum of three to five years of related experience in software development. * Experience with auto physical damage claims highly desired. * Bachelors degree required, preferably with a major in business, marketing, economics, computer science or a related field. * Experience and proficiency with business management tools JIRA, Aha, and MS suite.
