Snowflake redefined the data landscape over a decade ago by building a Data Cloud with industry-leading performance and price for data at any scale. Now we're bringing it to the next level by allowing you to bring your code, apps, and ML models to the data with Snowpark.

Snowpark is the platform in Snowflake to allows you to execute code in the language of choice (like Python, Java, and Scala) next to your data. The Snowpark libraries make it seamless to work with your data in Snowflake through your preferred language. What unlocks the real power in the Snowpark platform is your code is automatically scaled and executed securely at the scale of your data. Snowpark is being used by data engineers, data scientists, and app developers to build the next generation of data apps and data processing workflows.

You will work closely with a cross-functional team including engineers, data scientists, marketers, and sales professionals to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

AS A PRODUCT MANAGER FOR SNOWPARK, YOU WILL:

  • Work hand in hand with engineering leads and software engineers to prioritize and deliver Snowpark features

  • Own and drive improvements in the user adoption funnel (awareness, activation, retention)

  • Define and present the strategy in major areas of the Snowpark platform

  • Work directly with customers, partners, and sales professionals to understand existing customer needs and future opportunities

  • Partner with marketing to define, deliver, and track marketing activities

  • Present at conferences and for customers on current feature announcements and roadmap

  • Drive acceptance criteria and functional specifications for new areas of investment in the Snowpark platform

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis, pushing those insights into our platform strategy

OUR IDEAL PRODUCT MANAGER WILL HAVE:

  • Experience delivering tools or platforms for data engineers, data scientists, or developers.

  • Familiarity with Python (comfortable enough to write a simple script) and the Python ecosystem

  • Familiarity with Pandas, Spark, or other popular data-processing frameworks
