What You'll Do

  • Develop the company's product strategy for search and observability product features.

  • Define and improve the company's key funnels and metrics, write product specs, and drive cross-functional execution while providing product recommendations.

  • Conduct end-to-end roadmaps for multiple, bi-weekly planned releases, and unplanned hotfix releases.

  • Provide in-depth understanding of the company's product features and dependencies in order to make technical recommendations with the engineering team and complex computer science ideas into simple experiences for customers.

  • Build and design dashboards, datasets, and products with a global user base and accurately measure experiments.

  • Partner with enterprise customers to create intuitive and simplified search and observability product features and workflows.

Minimum Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related academic field.

  • 5 years of experience in the field of Product Management, Software Development, Distributed Systems, or any combination thereof to include all job titles within the occupation.

  • Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related academic field and 7 years of progressive experience in the field of Product Management, Software Development, Distributed Systems, or any combination thereof to include all job titles within the occupation in lieu of a Master's degree and 5 years of experience.

  • Work experience to include:

  • 5 years of experience as a product manager building

enterprise software products.

  • 3 years of experience with backend development in

distributed systems.

  • 3 years of experience with user experience and usability.

  • 3 years of experience in data analysis for large-scale systems telemetry.

  • Building SAAS products with a global user base.

  • Building product marketing plans to communicate business value of the product to the customer.

  • Designing and analyzing experiments to make data-driven decisions.

  • Running A/B tests for product features to validate product hypotheses.

  • Converting system metrics to developer insights.

  • Working with sales and marketing teams to create and execute go-to-market plans.

  • Working with sales enablement, customer success, and sales teams to perform product demos to enterprise customers.

  • Working with customer success teams to triage customer issues and incidents to provide a resolution.

  • Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.

  • Position requires 10% international travel; expenses paid by employer.

  • 40 hrs./wk.

  • Salary: $274,206 to $276,000 per year.

This role is based in Berkeley, California, and the reasonably estimated salary for this role ranges from $274,206 to $276,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is

based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition to our pay-on-performance philosophy, we offer a comprehensive set of benefits, including full medical coverage, flexible PTO, wellness reimbursement, and a monthly lunch stipend. Salaries will vary outside of the listed metropolitan areas and the U.S.
