Silver Peak is looking for a Product Operations Manager to work within our Product Management team. The Product Operations Manager is a high-impact position for Silver Peak. The ability to measure and understand customer usage of product and its impact on business processes using data is a critical part of the product team's responsibilities. This role is at the center of our product decision-making, driving metric data interpretation, analyzing product usage and business process efficiency, and ensuring that we continuously measure our effectiveness as a team.
Product Managers (PMs) are the CEOs of their products and are responsible for defining, prioritizing, planning and driving the execution of the vision. In the SD-WAN and software subscription (NaaS) market, Product Managers need to be able to measure and understand customer behavior to optimize decisions and value consistently. With the recent acquisition of Silver Peak by HPE Aruba, the Product Operations Manager is a key contributor in driving the integration of the respective business process systems.

How You'll Make Your Mark:
Act as the voice of the customer, using real data to share their experiences.
Cadenced reporting to the executive team on software release quality, inbound TAC cases, release adoption by customers, customer-found defects trending, field escalations and CAP reviews.
Implement an objective framework of metrics and processes to be a data-driven product team, developing the capability to gather and determine how to automate the sourcing of information that is not readily available today.
Analyze critical KPIs and data around product usage, retention rates, feature activation and attach rates of new products and licenses, etc.
Gain strong knowledge of both the product and technology to do lead analyses and help PMs make informed decisions
Track our critical initiatives around software releases and features through the product lifecycle, being able to differentiate initiatives and integrations of business processes that are in-progress versus those up for execution
Reinforce the PM team in assisting around new product introductions, pricelist management, product configurations for large opportunities
BA or MBA in Business Management or a related field
2-5 years of work experience as a Product Manager or a Product Operations Manager bringing hardware or software products to market
Comfort and experience or a desire to develop and analyze metric data
Ability to manage project deliverables, coordinate cross-functional projects, and work in a multi-task environment across organizational boundaries, while also driving resolution on daily issues
Ability to interact with stakeholders at a number of organizational levels
Ability to develop and articulate business rationale in support of product initiatives
