Position Summary:

Penn Foster is looking for a Product Manager to join our Product organization and take our learner experience to the next level. Serving hundreds of thousands of learners each year through a fully online education experience, Penn Foster provides life-changing opportunities through our career, high school and college programs.

In this role, you'll work with a cross-functional team to build great digital product solutions and partner with colleagues across the business to deliver results. We're looking for someone who's passionate about delivering both business and social impact, and to helping our learners realize their personal and professional aspirations through their Penn Foster experience

Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, designers and analysts to drive product solutions from ideation to launch

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for your respective theme, informed by enterprise business goals and strategies

  • Seek out user feedback to understand our learners and incorporate it into product design and development

  • Analyze KPIs and other data to identify insights and opportunities for improvement

  • Help to build agile development capabilities for the organization to improve quality and velocity

  • Research markets and competitors to stay on top of trends in the technology and education sectors

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Servant leader orientation and ability to develop, influence and motivate colleagues

  • Data-driven mindset to identify and prioritize opportunities across the learner experience

  • Intellectual curiosity and drive to learn new things, particularly in the product, technology and education domains

  • Passion for Penn Foster's mission and focus on middle skills learners and careers

  • Deep understanding of agile product development methodologies and best practices

  • Proficiency and knowledge to engage in technical discussions, identify and decide on tradeoffs and identify creative solutions

  • 5+ years professional experience, with 2+ years in product management or a related function

Education industry experience not required
