Product Manager, Platform Scaling

Pathstream | Product | SF or Remote

As Pathstream scales to help the next 100,000 frontline workers acquire new skills and unlock their potential, we are seeking a PM for Platform Scaling whose mission is to identify and address technical bottlenecks to growth. You will focus on helping us develop our learning experience platform and internal tools. Coming out of this role, you will have gained a holistic perspective across go-to-market and engineering as to what it takes to build a scalable platform that drives a fast-growing business.

To succeed in this role, you should be data driven and tech savvy and able to break down complex problems into elegant solutions. You should have experience building products where the stakeholders are internal teams. You will partner with engineering to identify and scope the critical work needed to build a resilient technical foundation and connect platform work to business outcomes. You will also partner with our internal stakeholders to understand operational pain points and ensure they have the tools to support our growing user base. You should be comfortable working with executive stakeholders and navigating the dynamics and change of an early stage startup environment. The ideal candidate will thrive in fast-paced environments and have an adaptable and collaborative approach to tackling tough problems with a mission-driven team.

  • Leverage product analytics to shape the evolution of our strategy: Serve as an internal expert on our product analytics, helping build and monitor dashboards and providing data-driven insights into how our product and business strategy should evolve.

  • Prioritize critical infrastructure and platform work: You will collaborate with engineers to identify key system and platform improvements, define requirements that align with stakeholder and business objectives, and facilitate decisions that balance user needs with technical priorities.

  • Build strong relationships: You will need to build strong relationships with our engineering team as well as key stakeholders throughout all divisions of our company to drive the product work forward while ensuring internal team processes and relationships remain strong.
