Under limited supervision, performs duties following established procedures in the following areas:
New Product Development: Manages many aspects of new product launch process from conception through market introduction. Must be able to manage many new products all at varying stages of development in order to attain planned launch dates.
Market Analysis: Analyzes and defines the market for a category of products within the assigned product market segment. Able to analyze the total market, company market share, competitor market share, and available market share by products market.
Forecast: Provides the data to prepare, update, and control forecasts to help properly manage product inventory.
Product Tracking and Management: Create and maintain a product tracker to help manage the work flow as assigned.
Work well with others in helping to manage work flow in order to attain purposes and goals.
Must be able to utilize and navigate through custom software applications specific to division job functions.
Manage digital marketing on various platforms. (i.e. Walmart and Jet)
Lead coordinator for all operations, product setup, and sales support related to the retail channel with DtC brands.
Provide daily support to DtC Customer Service team to coordinate answering customer inquiries.
Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Education: Bachelor's degree with some consumer packaged goods or industry related experience preferred.
Organization: Must be organized in creating and maintaining a product tracker relating to various aspects of product management.
Strong experience using MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Power Point, Outlook, etc.
Work with limited Supervision: With limited supervision, be proactive at putting forth ideas to help grow a product category. Expected to act professionally in managing time and resources on the job.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and talk or hear.
The employee must exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vision, field of vision. Maintain good hygiene.
