Job Summary

Under limited supervision, performs duties following established procedures in the following areas:

Essential Functions

  • New Product Development: Manages many aspects of new product launch process from conception through market introduction. Must be able to manage many new products all at varying stages of development in order to attain planned launch dates.

  • Market Analysis: Analyzes and defines the market for a category of products within the assigned product market segment. Able to analyze the total market, company market share, competitor market share, and available market share by products market.

  • Forecast: Provides the data to prepare, update, and control forecasts to help properly manage product inventory.

  • Product Tracking and Management: Create and maintain a product tracker to help manage the work flow as assigned.

  • Work well with others in helping to manage work flow in order to attain purposes and goals.

  • Must be able to utilize and navigate through custom software applications specific to division job functions.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Manage digital marketing on various platforms. (i.e. Walmart and Jet)

  • Lead coordinator for all operations, product setup, and sales support related to the retail channel with DtC brands.

  • Provide daily support to DtC Customer Service team to coordinate answering customer inquiries.

  • Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities.

  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Job Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree with some consumer packaged goods or industry related experience preferred.

  • Organization: Must be organized in creating and maintaining a product tracker relating to various aspects of product management.

  • Creative & Analytical

    Both creative and analytical skills are required in identifying a need and creating and managing a line of consumer products in the health food channel. Must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, margin, interest, etc.
  • Writing & Presentation

    Will be regularly producing new product concepts, creative ads, sales sheets, and training materials which requires strong writing skills & attention to detail.
  • Computer Skills:
    Strong experience using MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Power Point, Outlook, etc.

  • Presentation & Communication

    Both oral and written skills are a must-have. Must possess a positive disposition and act in a professional and respectable manner.
  • Work with limited Supervision: With limited supervision, be proactive at putting forth ideas to help grow a product category. Expected to act professionally in managing time and resources on the job.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and talk or hear.

  • The employee must exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vision, field of vision. Maintain good hygiene.

Your role as product asks, and make sure we are coordinating our efforts with others. First and foremost, you are a leader and owner of the product from start to finish. While a program manager's role is very tactical in nature, you should also think strategically, particularly in driving organizational continuous improvement. Be the team champion for the process: * Ensure the product is successful and hit outlined targets. Be the product experts. Step in where needed * Identify sales requirements for products * Identify next generation needs and features * Key role in the sales forecasting process and participate in SOP meetings * Identify and work with beta customers to test products * Identify marketing needs and release schedule is in line with product release.
