Product Manager- (Maersk Ground Freight)

Opportunity

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to lead our global transportation services, including cross border, transportation brokerage, Full and Less-Than-Truckload (FTL/LTL) operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international third-party carrier operations or transportation brokerage, with a deep understanding of the ground freight market in at least one geography and the ability to learn about other markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the product strategy for global transportation services, aligning with the company's vision and goals.

• Partner in the implementation of new customer solutions, focusing on capabilities and economic factors, including cost and pricing.

• Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities and challenges in the global transportation landscape.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regional counterparts, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Analyze data to drive decision-making and optimize product performance, using tools like SQL and Power BI.

• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Drive and implement process changes to meet industry standards and enhance operational efficiency.

• Partner with regional counterparts to ensure alignment and successful execution of strategies.

• Prioritize changes based on customer value and financial attractiveness to maximize business impact.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience working for an international third-party carrier or transportation broker, with experience in LTL operations being a significant advantage.

• In-depth knowledge of the ground freight market in at least one geography, with the ability to quickly learn about other markets.

• Strong understanding of customer implementation from both capability and economic perspectives.

• Proficiency in analytical tools and data analysis, with knowledge of SQL and Power BI being a significant advantage.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and regional counterparts.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

• Process-oriented mindset with the ability to drive and implement change.

• Ability to prioritize initiatives based on customer value and financial attractiveness.

• Ability to operate and lead in a highly complex and matrixed organization.

• Capable of dealing with ambiguity and making sound decisions in uncertain situations.

• Proven ability to earn the trust of multiple stakeholders across regions and seniority levels.
