Internship Program give students real-world exposure to one of the world's leading fashion and apparel companies. Our 10-week Summer F.I.T. Program is based at a LS&Co. office and is the perfect way to gain work experience in the core of the organization, while learning what a career at LS&Co. might have in store for you.

In addition to daily responsibilities, all F.I.T. Interns will participate in summer project in their department to support an important business initiative and work with various areas of our business and our brands. Leadership seminars and career exploration learning series connect our interns to our leaders and provide exposure to different career paths internally. Intern performance will be assessed over the Summer and could potentially lead to a full-time offer upon graduation.

About the Role:

We are looking for a product manager to join our 2024 summer internship program. This product manager will support one of our Digital Product Creation products. Think: the digital design and produce lifecycle development of our products, or how we take an idea of a product and make it a reality. The ideal candidate should have some experience in building or delivering a product or technical solution in the past (and any experience in retail & apparel, and internal go to market or supply chain processes is a plus).

  • Support the creation of the product vision, goals, and roadmap. Motivate and inspire the technical team and stakeholders to champion these benefits throughout the company.

  • Drive product roadmap delivery in conjunction with your leader and cross-functional team

  • Manage a dynamic and evolving product backlog - prioritize new ideas, enhancement requests from users, competitive analysis, and engagement data for your product. Be able to synthesize lots of input to know what should, and even more important, should not be prioritized.

  • Partner with engineering and product design to build a product that delights our users - understanding that there are always tradeoffs between technology, look and feel, and speed to market in these product decisions to deliver the most value for our users and business

  • Clearly document epics, breaking them down into user stories that can be delivered in small, iterative pieces

  • Keep a pulse on the industry. Conduct competitive analysis, evaluate other retailers, and stay informed on the industry and evolving technologies in this space.

  • Participate in user research to deeply understand our diverse user groups needs, and deliver the best solution to meet those needs

  • Be data informed and comfortable leading with your recommendations. Use experimentation to take data, define a hypothesis, and run a test and receive data learn what is working best for our users.

  • Support product releases through close partnerships with business and operations teams, understanding ways of working and effectively communicating changes to our business users

  • Effectively communicate progress & blockers to team members, product leadership, and stakeholders

  • Coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing of functional and user facing requirements.

  • Develop an understanding of LS&Co. Go to Market processes and learn about the complex ecosystem supporting those processes

About You:

  • Currently pursuing a Graduate degree in Business, Technology or related field, and/or 2-3 years' experience in product management, technology and project delivery.

  • Experience in apparel, go to markets, or product lifecycle management platforms a plus

  • Experience working with, and driving product development across cross-functional teams to implement customer facing solutions

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills that can quickly evaluate complex issues and break into actionable steps till resolution

  • Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into an actionable product roadmap

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, associate program or graduate program

  • Expected Graduation date Spring 2025

  • Eligible to work in the U.S. or Canada (based on role location) and provide proof of work authorization (citizen or permanent resident)

  • Experience with apparel industry and product knowledge (preferred)

Additional Information:

  • Salary: $30/Hour for undergraduate and associate and $55/Hour for graduate

  • Relocation: Travel and housing assistance will be provided if you need to relocate for the summer
