Headquartered in Bryan, Texas, and a member of the Verisk family of companies, iiX is the premier provider of motor vehicle records to insurance professionals and employers. We also offer underwriting reports to the insurance industry, as well as employment screening services to employers. Today we have more than 20,000 customers and process millions of report transactions each year.
We are currently looking for a Product Manager to manage our employment screening product suite. This includes new product identification and enhancement to existing products, pricing, contract structures, packaging and bundling of the products, developing user guides and training documents and management of the Account Manager team who support our top tier Employment Screening clients. The Product Manager will take an active role in industry events and conferences, engage in competitive research, collaborate with business partners and engage with customers in order to maintain an expert level of knowledge within the employment screening industry.
In order to qualify, you need:
Bachelors degree. Advanced degree or extensive background screening experience desired.
3 to 7 years' experience in product management role or DOT safety with transportation company, vendor, or related
3 to 5 years' experience in supervising employees in a client support capacity
Strong analytic aptitude required. Must be able to assess and address complex business problems as well as understand detailed customer workflows in order to identify opportunities that include Verisk/iiX capabilities across the organization
Highly motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, revenue generating environment
Strong oral and written communication skills and a professional demeanor. Must be able to communicate on a business and technical level
Strong familiarity within the transportation & DOT area
Experience with gathering and assessing competitive intelligence
Ability to travel periodically to attend industry events and visit customers or business partners.
