We have the following exciting opportunity in our Foster City, CA location:

Product Manager - HIV Marketing, HCP NPP

The Gilead Marketer, HIV Healthcare Provider (HCP) Non-Personal Promo (NPP), will be responsible for supporting Sales and Marketing efforts by driving promotions excellence for our most recent launch product. This role includes assisting with the development and implementation of HCP NPP activities. The role will report directly to the Associate Director, HIV HCP Marketing NPP Promotions.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the development of NPP strategy for Gileads' lastest launch product and Gilead HIV portfolio

  • Executing HCP focused NPP branded tactics including but not limited to, websites, email marketing, digital/print media initiatives, SEO/SEM; ensuring that they meet the strategic objectives outlined in the annual business plan

  • Managing vendors and other external resources in the development of tactical plans

  • Gaining approval for marketing materials through internal review process including management reviews and Med-Legal-Reg. Secures final production

  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis of current initiatives to determine optimal resource allocation and continuous improvement of the NPP program

  • Assisting in managing NPP promo budget and project timelines

  • Tracking trends in the use of digital/multi-channel approaches to engage customer segments, such as healthcare professionals, and pharmacy

  • Working cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Regulatory, Medical, Market Research, Sales Analytics and Managed Markets and other key internal stakeholders.

Qualifications include:

  • 6+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience; at least 1 year of marketing experience is preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related fields; MBA (preferred)

  • Demonstrated excellence in project management including planning, prioritization, execution, analytical assessment and performance management

  • Ability to analyze customer insights; understands market dynamics, and connect tactics with customer engagement objectives

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to coordinate and lead strategic partners, key stakeholders and internal teams for strong collaboration & teamwork

  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to generate appropriate digital metrics, assess ROI on spends and adeptly manage complex budgets

  • Excellent communications skills with an ability to effectively communicate both orally and written

  • Understanding of biopharmaceutical regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will be highly collaborative, perceptive and an analytical problem solver with a track record of success in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry. He/she will be someone who manifests trust, and is known for his/her ethics and integrity. Importantly, the successful candidate will put patients first and have a significant respect for science.
