In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development at Google speed.

Our team works closely with creative and prolific engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Google aims to build products that organize the world's information and make it universally accessible to our users. As a Product Manager at Google, you could be working on new technologies, platforms, consumer facing products, and/or enterprise systems. The end goal will be to match you with the team that best aligns with your interests, experience, and where you will have the most impact.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of Technical Product Management experience (i.e. creating strategic product roadmap(s) from conception to launch and working with cross-functional teams).

  • Experience driving the product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.

  • Experience developing Internet products and technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or a vast technological understanding.

  • Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction.

  • Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance or Marketing.

  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Understand markets, competition, and user requirements in depth.

  • Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly.

  • Work collaboratively with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, etc. on cutting edge technologies.

  • Develop innovative solutions to some of the world's hardest problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions.

Essential Responsibilities / Duties: * As the product owner, your main responsibilities include gathering product requirements, prioritizing feature implementations and improving overall user experience. * Collaborate daily with engineering, design, customer teams, and other product managers – appreciating the diverse and brilliant mix of teammates who make things happen * Create clear product requirements (e.g. JIRA user stories) and client-facing product design documents * Understand and negotiate technical implementation options with engineering, and make decisions based on customer and business needs * Work with State and Federal entities to ensure that the GI SBM platform adheres to the CMS regulations. * Lead and participate in sprint planning, grooming, and daily stand-ups to ensure a steady flow of the team's work * Partner with product leadership to help define why and when certain product needs should be addressed, assisting in roadmap development and quarterly planning activities and release management. Basic Qualifications * 3+ years of relevant experience, working in a highly cross-functional business environment; Product Management or digital health experience is a plus * Strong technical expertise (4+ years) in the underlying design and architecture of the applicable product * Advanced knowledge of databases, APIs and other technical aspects of a web application. * Ability to work in an Agile environment (sprint, scrum, etc.) * Experience working with engineering, design, and customer-facing teams * Experience writing Product Specifications, User Stories, Product Requirement Documents * Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, enthusiastic to solve unknowns * Self-motivated individual with a 'doer' attitude * Zeal for metrics/analysis to deliver on business objectives * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree required (BA/BS).
