Summary:

As a key member of the Business Technology Group team, the Product Manager Finance and Analytics is responsible for the selection, deployment and support of technology solutions in support of the Finance business organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Bridge gap between IT and business, assess requirements, deliver data-driven recommendations to stakeholders

  • Partner with Business team to collect, analyze, prioritize, and document business requirements

  • Facilitate the design and implementation of changes to data, processes and people to help drive efficiencies and improve business outcomes

  • Leverage past experience to oversee the development of solutions that are technically feasible and financially and functionally prudent

  • Gather, analyze, and model data using analytical tools and techniques to develop business insights and drive decision making

  • Support the Financial Planning and Reporting, Accounting, and Legal business teams

  • Assist in the development of the Intarcia Analytics strategy, providing Finance and Accounting and Reporting tool expertise

  • Partner with onsite and offshore consulting teams to design and deliver technology solutions

  • Work with Intarcia business team to train and sustain user organization to be able to derive expected benefits from technology solutions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree Accountancy or Information Systems, or equivalent (required)

Experience:

  • Familiarity and past support of organizations responsible for Finance and Accounting processes, including Financial Planning, External and Management Reporting, Core Accounting (GL, AP, AR, Cash, Asset), Consolidation and Month/Year-end Closing

  • Implementation and Support of a Planning and Reporting system, including SAP BPC, Hyperion or similar

  • Gathering of business requirements for technology solutions, evaluation and selection of solution alternatives, development and roll out of software and reports

  • Experience within Life Sciences or regulated industry preferred, understanding of SOX, GMP's or similar regulations and requirements for IT solutions

  • Familiarity with IT Service Management processes, including Incident, Request, Problem, Change and Release management

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
