About the Role:

As a product manager you will deliver the content, tools, and experiences needed by clients to support their investment decision making process. If you are effective in your role, clients will be able to develop a strong understanding of the market landscape, relevant trends, and have the tools necessary to monitor and make investment decisions.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Validate client needs, pain points, and business opportunities through ongoing client research

  • Create detailed functional specifications from prioritized requirements you have gathered and validated

  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders and project teams to execute your product roadmap

  • Continuously improve our external and internal deliverables and operational processes

  • Establish project goals, measure your business impact and identify additional opportunities for success

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Finance or related field

  • 3+ years of product management experience

  • Bias for action and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what is necessary to meet team goals

  • Experience gathering customer-centric requirements and writing functional specification documents

  • Superior attention to detail including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong audience awareness

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of investment/portfolio management

  • A proven record of shipping high impact digital solutions

  • Experience with partnerships and managing vendor relationships

Do you have ideas for how AWS can make learning AI/ML accessible to all? Amazon Web Services (AWS) DeepRacer Service is looking for a Principal Product Manager Technical who is passionate about helping system integrator and education customers accelerate the number and quality of AI/ML practitioners in the global workforce. As DeepRacer's principal product manager, you will work directly with some of AWS' largest customers to enable education, adoption and integration of DeepRacer (and related autonomous robotics) initiatives into their training programs and new product initiatives. We are looking for an individual to challenge the status quo and innovate on behalf of our customers. You will partner with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Academy, and several other AWS teams to craft highly scalable programs and hybrid edge-cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of the DeepRacer platform. You must be an experienced technologist with technical breadth and depth coupled with strong interpersonal skills. You will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, create technical definition around customer objectives in complex situations, develop solution strategies, motivate & mobilize resources, and deliver results. The ability to connect technology with measureable business value is critical to a solutions architect. Roles and Responsibilities * As a key member of the DeepRacer team, ensure success in defining, designing, building and integrating hardware, software, and services on our Platform. * In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed active user and revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS DeepRacer and downstream services. * Be a DeepRacer evangelist. Present sessions at AWS and industry conferences. Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS DeepRacer. Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and proof of concepts. * Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be DeepRacer advocates. * Lead deep architectural discussions and design exercises with partners to create world-class solutions built on AWS while ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment. * Design architectures and provide customers prescriptive guidance across networking, AI/ML workloads, storage, operating systems, virtualization, RDBMS & NoSQL databases, Hadoop, and mid-tier technologies (application integration, security, in-memory caches). * Share customer feedback to internal product management, engineering & support teams to help drive the future of AWS. * Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community. * Role requires approximately 25% travel.
