Overview of Position

This role provides an opportunity to make a direct impact in the Dental space, working on new products and solutions that can improve Dental RCM and reduce cost to the provider and payer communities that we serve. Product owner will be interacting with the multi-disciplinary teams within the Dental business unit and has responsibility for clear communication of the solutions across departments. Finally, the successful candidate will collaborate efficiently and effectively with the current product management leadership team to influence the product roadmap for new and or enhanced functionality that solves market, regulatory, or competitive needs.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Collaborate with leadership to update/create compelling product roadmaps including product definition, solution design, delivery model for both payers and providers within the Dental RCM, Credentialing and EDI space.

  • Listens to market, customers, and internal stakeholders to translate needs into solution design artifacts, author user stories that are clear and concise. Shares artifacts with internal stakeholders for go-to-market decisions and execution.

  • Engage with solution / vendor partners to collaborate and design best of breed market solutions that jointly benefit Change Healthcare and partner while providing clients value.

  • Strong background in product management in the healthcare IT/medical imaging domain

  • Lead scrum ceremonies for the team and keep the team on track to enable predictive product delivery.

  • Perform business analysis and UAT activities for product development and enhancements.

  • Collaborates with Engineering to ensure successful implementation of portfolio vision.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • 5+ years prior experience in product related functions in software industry, preferable in healthcare information technology.

  • 7+ years of experience with healthcare electronic data exchange and healthcare revenue cycle management.

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or related technical field; Master's Degree in computer science or business administration preferred.

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Possess a strong technical background and able to learn & apply new topics quickly and efficiently.

  • SQL query building skills and inclination to learn technical workings of the product to provide clear and concise requirements to development team.

  • Experience with business analysis, product management and business process management.

  • Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.

  • Prior experience working in an Agile, continuous software delivery environment.

  • Prior experience in electronic data interfaces and Revenue cycle management is preferable.

  • Solution oriented, and when issues arise, be able to roll up sleeves and tackle them.

  • Must be passionate about solving problems.

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Less than 15%

Our Tekgard division specializes in engineering customized thermal management solutions for military, government, and industrial applications. Currently we have openings in our York facility for a Lead Engineer, Product Development. SUMMARY: This is a hands-on position and involves all aspects of planning and managing Product Development projects from bid and proposal (B&P) to final deliverables. Perform mechanical and thermal design and analyses to support project requirements. Manage all aspects of engineering projects including concept generation, proposal development, project schedule, personnel allocation, progress tracking, customer interaction, and budget control. Manage multiple projects, engineers and technician staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: * Assist Sales and Marketing personnel in evaluating potential opportunities. * Write proposals and/or quotation for customers including Bill of materials and engineering hours estimates, as required. * Conduct electrical, mechanical, structural, and thermal design analyses per customer specifications. * Generate technical data package including drawings and recommended spare parts lists per customer requirements. * Document reports, both interim and final, detailing program progress, problems, and proposed solutions. * Communicate progress with customer using tools such as an Integrated Master Schedule, Action Item List, Risk Register, etc. * Generate, disposition, and implement Engineering Change Notices and generate Configuration Management Accounting Sheets, as required. * Mentor engineers and technicians by completing Quarterly Performance Reviews with Product Development staff * Help recruit and interview new engineers and technicians. * Document program schedules. * Establish and document work plan for laboratory technicians to complete proposed tasks. * Evaluate and report test results. * Responsible for the financial performance of the Product Development Team. * Report Product Development Team performance monthly * Forecasting & Budgets * Bids & Proposals * Bookings, Revenue & Expenses * Authorize disposition of Nonconforming Materials. * Coordinate activities with regard to risk assessment, as required. * Conduct a review of customer Contracts, as required. * Follow all company rules and policies. * This includes being familiar with, and following, ITAR/export guidelines pertaining to e- mails, technical information and products designated as either ITAR or export controlled. * Follow Digital Product Definition and Coordinate Measurement Systems procedures, as required.
