The Product Owner, Manager will be responsible for supporting product strategy to improve the customer experience and drive revenue for the Neiman Marcus Group websites, specifically for Content Management and A/B Testing product tools. The position will collaborate with business partners, subject matter experts, developers and vendor partners to establish business and technical requirements and track them through the process to a successful and on-time delivery of functionality/optimizations.


  • Partners with leadership on program level strategy development and execution.

  • Helps drive the product discovery process and effectively communicates business requirements.

  • Contributes to successful continuous delivery of product roadmaps, within budget and schedule, by identifying risks and developing/ recommending mitigation strategies.

  • Reviews tactical implications to products or business areas for new strategic directions ensuring long-term goals and an enterprise view are represented in requirements.

  • Creates and analyzes regular and ad hoc reporting to monitor business KPI's and to measure the effectiveness of product enhancements. Troubleshoots and researches issues related to changing trends, behaviors, or performance to identify what is impacting the business and determine how to address.

  • Builds strong working relationship with teams across the organization & key stakeholders to help facilitate awareness and support of business strategies and initiatives.

  • Supports and provides direction to the business analysts in determining the impact of new functionality to existing business processes and system functionality. Ensures the team documents requirements of sufficient quality in order to provide a solid foundation for realizing the benefits of the project.

  • Maintains market awareness of industry trends and competitive landscape to help identify necessary updates and new opportunities.

  • Manages a business analyst providing direction, guidance, feedback, coaching to further develop team capabilities.

  • Manages vendor partners to help solve customer and business problems and collaborate to drive for new innovations in products and services that best meet business needs and strategy.


  • Strong strategic, creative thinking and decision making skills

  • Exhibits both technical and business understanding.

  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to deliver expected results on time

  • Must have extremely strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain and develop internal and external relationships; collaborating across multiple business and technology functions, relationship building and consensus building are essential

  • Self-motivated and results oriented individual able to work independently and also work collaboratively with a team

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization, and communicate with technical and non-technical audience


  • 4-5 years of eCommerce experience in a supervisory role

  • Experience in scrum/agile development methodology

  • Experience with Content Management Systems preferred.

  • Experience with Content Personalization preferred.

  • Familiarity with content management and a/b testing tools (preferably Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Test & Target or Optimizely)

  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (preferably Adobe Analytics) and experience using data to make decisions

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or other related fields

About the job The Content Marketing Program manager is a member of a team responsible for managing global content strategy and elevating the reputation of Texas Instruments as the leading provider of analog and embedded processing semiconductors and solutions, especially for industrial and automotive electronics. The position requires strong writing, editing and storytelling skills, including experience using various forms of written and visual content and earned, owned and paid channels to effectively reach the intended audience. This role plans and develops written content and multimedia, coaches engineering spokespeople and content creators, and edits content by technical subject matter experts. The successful candidate is a collaborative, results-driven team player, who seeks continuous improvement, is adept at managing professional relationships and is able to influence without direct authority. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Drive content marketing strategy for specific product categories or market sectors aligned to company and business digital marketing objectives. * Create and implement worldwide content plans and messaging that align with priority areas and topics. * Provide communications counsel and develop plans to elevate key TI experts. * Apply best practices to create, curate, edit, publish, distribute and promote compelling content to attract and engage design engineers, and ultimately convert them to buy TI products and remain loyal customers. * Make and manage writing assignments with TI authors and writing networks, and help oversee the editorial calendar. * Manage and edit technical articles and trend stories, such as blog posts. * Develop compelling messaging and write news releases for major product or technology launches or business initiatives. * Create stories, including social content, and collaborate with designers on the creation of visual and video content related to TI technologies and reference designs. * Engage with influencers, including performing the following: * Drive creative digital strategies to foster relationships with key media and digital influencers. * Work with the public relations agency to identify, engage and brief key media influencers who cover industry trends. * Prepare briefing materials and presentations. * Conduct external research about markets, trends and competitors to ensure our stories are well-positioned in the external context. * Apply a journalist's mindset, networking and asking thoughtful questions to discover stories, themes and contributors for new content opportunities that position TI uniquely and engage targeted audiences. * Use analytics to identify areas of success, opportunity and improvement, and continuously refine communications programs. * Measure and report program results. * Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to plan and execute on optimal ways to target and reach key audiences in order to deliver highly effective communications. * Manage multiple communications projects simultaneously to drive communications deliverables that meet established deadlines and standards, using effective project management.
