The Product Manager, Collaboration tools is responsible for managing the development, operations, training, and support of Macmillan collaboration tools including GSuite, Box, and Dropbox. This position will work with teams both inside and outside the company to identify system requirements, test/evaluate new developments, document system features, and train users. The product manager will plan and coordinate application rollouts, and will be responsible for periodic evaluation/analysis of product use/implementation across the company.
Serve as the point of intersection between the business and technical teams; gather system requirements from stakeholders and distill/translate into detailed feature requests
In collaboration with Technology leadership team, create/document system policy & coordinate socialization of policy implementation and change
Analyze/document existing workflows, make recommendations for enhancements and support the implementation and measurement of new processes
Maintain strong technical understanding of the product and determine how potential new features leverage and/or replace existing functionality to best meet business needs
Manage efforts for application customizations, configurations, upgrades, and deployments, from initial analysis through implementation
Manage product operations and vendor relationships including but not limited to SOW negotiation, program management of deliverables, user acceptance and quality testing
Draft clear and well-organized documentation on application features. Create training materials & provide training to new and existing staff.
Serve as key contact for overarching application concerns/queries maintain relationships with account reps; manage service outages as needed & draft all user communications
Required Skills / Knowledge:
Expertise in GSuite applications
Knowledgeable about Box and Dropbox
Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate clearly across departments to users of varying technical knowledge/ability
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive working relationships with colleagues at varying levels within the company
Must be detail-oriented with proactive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated initiative, judgment, critical thinking, and analytic skills
Strong organization and project-management skills
Premier customer-service skills; investement in optimum user experience and able to adopt user's perspective when defining new initiatives and developing new product features
Enthusiastic about working in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment

Ability to travel when required (minimal)
5+ years in Product Management, Systems Development/Management, or Technical Support
2+ years Product Manager experience preferred
Experience leading large-scale projects, rollout of new products/solutions
Experience leading external resources (i.e. consultants, vendors) a plus
Experience with GSuite enterprise implementation, including resource management interface and Google Meet conferencing solutions a plus
