OD is a high-profile LSEG x Microsoft initiative that was announced at our recent Capital Markets Day. This is a complex initiative that includes the following key areas of focus:

  • Partner w Head of Collaboration Products to execute strategic initiatives via teams, communities and external partners

  • Drives product builds per strategic Workspace plan and targeting pilot client users in 2024.

  • Support Partner collaboration with larger financial services industry leaders

Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

  • Product Management to develop competitive collaboration capabilities across the Workspace desktop, web and mobile platforms, including messaging, group chat, sharing, and directory.

  • Actively engages with customers and industry partners to provide inputs used to help define and execute the open collaboration platform strategy to facilitate community adoption in target communities through APIs and workflow integration

  • Leverages user data and analyses targeted metrics that inform the success and growth of LSEG Workspace financial communities on the platform in close collaboration with usage analytics teams

  • Key member/leader within Workflows that actively promotes the LSEG Workspace collaboration experience to our customer, partner and sales communities helping to facilitate adoption of the platform and tools.

  • Driver and partner with internal stakeholders (sales, go to market, and digital marketing teams, legal, admin and support teams) to deliver key elements of the product capabilities by incorporating key inputs to drive end user adoption.

  • Engages directly with customers, key sales and community stakeholders and market intelligence to inform product and communication strategy.

  • Analyzes metrics that inform the success and growth of LSEG Workspace financial communities on the platform in close collaboration with usage analytics teams

  • Integrates qualitative and quantitative research, product analysis and market insights into product requirements, roadmaps and strategies.

  • Serves as a platform evangelist to actively promote the LSEG Workspace collaboration experience to our customer, partner and sales communities and creates the drumbeat and enablement for global campaigns driving loyalty and adoption

  • Collaborates with sales, go to market, and digital marketing teams, legal, admin and support teams (installation to end user support) to deliver the platform

Essential Skills/Experience Required:

  • Proven business leadership skills in a customer facing product with a strong bias towards client-centricity and commercial impact

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

  • Experience in a product of a community-based product offering e.g. instant messaging, mobile chat or in-product sharing product capabilities.

  • Excellent communicator - able to manage strategic conversations with Management and key customers, both spoken and written

  • Thought leadership, innovation and customer mindset

  • Strategic thinking in evolving community platforms based on industry trends

  • Experience working with global development teams to deliver products and services

  • Experience working with 3rd party vendors and partner firms to execute on a platform approach.

Compensation/Benefits Information (New York applicants only):

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $183,000 - $340,000.

Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match. LSEG's Benefits plan also includes basic life insurance, disability benefits, emergency backup dependent care, adoption assistance commuter assistance etc.
