As Product Manager on Mailchimp's Channels Product Domain, you will be responsible for setting direction for the team and executing on it in partnership with fellow product managers and other disciplines. This includes identifying customer problems, creating short and long term roadmaps and consistently assessing business impact. You will provide thought leadership and direction that drives towards our company goals and strategy and does so in collaboration with engineering, design, research, analytics and marketing.

What you'll do here:

  • Own individual product from concept to launch, ensuring roadmap is aligned to company vision

  • Partner with Research to validate or assess customer expectations and perceptions

  • Collaborate with Data Research to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products; regularly review metrics to ensure they are tracking to goal

  • Communicate clearly defined and achievable product goals to Design and Engineering, negotiating trade-offs and adjusting scope as needed to hit major milestones

  • Lead product team through Pragmatic Planning to identify scope for sprints; identify opportunities to validate product direction through MVPs

  • Work collaboratively with Product Marketing and Support to define release marketing reach, effort and support impact

  • Build, edit and manage product backlog understanding the contributive value of each feature, the level of effort, risk and opportunity costs

  • You are highly skilled at socializing business opportunity at all levels of the organization through both written presentation and compelling storytelling

  • You have the ability to communicate complex and detailed information in an organized and consumable format

  • You are capable of and comfortable with working closely with Senior and C-level executives to develop product strategy

  • You have a strong familiarity with web technologies (coding experience not required)

  • you have the ability to build relationships, be persuasive and influential within and across immediate working groups

  • You have an understanding of how to read data to analyze the performance of digital features

  • You have a bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience

  • You have experience delivering consumer based online or software as a service (SaaS) experiences in a SCRUM / Agile environment

projects along with supporting the business development team with sales and customer related deliverables.Project Initiating and Planning * Assists with conducting a feasibility study, SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis and/or impact assessment to determine potential effects of change, to identify key dependencies/ interdependencies and overlapping boundaries, and to establish actions/plans to minimize impacts and to create a business case. * Collaborates with the management team to draft the project charter, including but not limited to defining the project scope, schedule, purpose, objectives, strategy, stakeholders, deliverables, requirements, timelines, milestones, resources, and metrics. * Estimates project costs and determines project budget. * Performs cost benefit analysis to ensure effective use of resources and maximum return-on-investment. * Builds relationships and collaborates with stakeholders to identify business needs, to gain consensus, to manage project expectations, and to ensure delivery of commitments. * Sets project quality and performance standards. * Establishes a communication plan. * Develops training and testing plans. * Performs risk management planning, risk identification, and mitigation. * Facilitates the staffing process for each engagement and collaborates with resource owners as Execution * Develops, executes, monitors, and adjusts project plans, resources, and implementation strategy to meet the needs of the key stakeholders, and to ensure the project deliverables are on time, within budget, adheres to high quality standards, and meets customer/stakeholders' expectations. * Reviews the progress of the project and effectively manages change requirements, dependencies, milestones, risks, issues, priorities, quality, etc. to ensure project goals, objectives, and deliverables are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. * Champions process and organizational change management. * Develops resource, financial, quality, and risk plans to determine required resources, to quantify expenditures, to set quality targets, and to identify risks and actions for mitigation. * Tracks key milestones and costs and performs quality reviews to ensure project goals and objectives are met. * Proactively identifies, resolves, and/or escalates risks, challenges, barriers, and issues to relevant stakeholders. * Tracks expenditures and reviews, monitors, and manages the project plan budget. * Manages the complete project lifecycle from inception through closing. * Collaborates with stakeholders and the project team to determine priorities of deliverables and tasks. * Gathers and synthesizes business and technical requirements. * Creates and manages schedules
