About GenScript ProBio

GenScript ProBio is the subsidiary of GenScript Biotech Corporation, proactively providing end-to-end CDMO service from drug discovery to commercialization with proactive strategies, professional solutions and efficient processes in cell and gene therapy (CGT), vaccine, biologics discovery and antibody protein drug to accelerate drug development for customers. GenScript ProBio's total cell and gene therapy solution covers CMC of plasmid and virus for IND filing as well as clinical manufacturing and commercial manufacturing. In terms of plasmid service, GenScript ProBio supports the most clinical approvals for CGT drugs including mRNA vaccines, CAR-T in China. It is also the first GMP manufacturing platform to provide in vitro transcription (IVT) template linearized plasmids for mRNA vaccines and has supported several mRNA vaccine global enterprises to obtain clinical approvals. Job Scope:

Product Managers (PM) lead a cross-functional role in the development and management of both existing and new products. PMs oversee all aspects of product management, including defining product features, guiding development, forecasting, pricing, market introduction, sales support, and promotional planning. This position serves as the primary marketing resource for supporting the overall strategy and revenue goals of the product catalog in the US market. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, combining technical expertise, stakeholder management, exemplary project management abilities, outstanding communication skills, and a team player spirit.

Please note this role will be based onsite in Piscataway, NJ.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the product portfolio across North America and international markets, collaborating seamlessly across product lines and workflows.

  • Coordinate promotional initiatives with product line managers and the sales teams.

  • Develop and produce promotional materials such as landing pages, flyers, brochures, etc.

  • Execute promotional activities including sampling programs, advertisements, conference and tradeshow participation, product demonstrations and customer presentations.

  • Demonstrate product expertise when attending conferences or tradeshows

  • Categorize customer types and analyze effectiveness of territory performances based on client category, promotional activities and help execute improvement plan.

  • Analyze customer segments and assess territory performance effectiveness based on client category and promotional activities; contribute to improvement plans.

  • Evaluate portfolio performance across different territories and market needs, gathering market insights through surveys and client interactions to identify growth opportunities.

  • Provide trainings, guidance and recommendations to Sales, Product Line Managers, R&D, and Production groups based on recognizing customers' current and future needs during continued business relationship

  • Organize and conduct trainings for customers, sales members, and external distributors by delivering presentations and/or demos.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and departments to achieve sustainable growth.

  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor(s).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor degree in relevant life science disciplines, such as biology, protein chemistry, biochemistry, cell biology, immunology, molecular biology, biotechnology, etc.

  • Marketing experience highly preferred.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills

  • Must be customer-centered and proactive/action-oriented

  • Excellent analytical skills & problem-solving skills, able to grasp new concepts quickly

  • Strong organization skills with great attention to detail

  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment

  • Quick learner and well organized with good time managements and multitasking skills.

  • Solid business sense is a plus

  • Must have basic computer skills in Microsoft Office
