The Product Manager has overall responsibility for management of the designated product lines, including the specific product mix, product families, and ongoing evaluation of products to be added, enhanced, refined, developed, or eliminated. This position serves as a strategic thinker with a strong track record of launching innovative products and has the ability to increase sales and profitability through identification of visionary new product concepts for anticipated needs in our industry niches, and develop support resources and training for sales, customers, packaging, manuals, and technical support. The Global Product Manager will be tasked to ensure that the product line is recognized as the best by resellers and end users in the industry for value, quality, selection, innovation, features, reliability, and ease of use. With the use of consumer research, user experience, industrial design and intellectual property, the Global Product Manager will conceive, prototype, deliver, road map, launch and market revolutionary innovative solutions for the way our consumers live, communicate and stay connected.
Specific Responsibilities Include
Own the global P&L for designated product line and/or product categories.
Provide an inspirational vision for the given product lines that "changes the game" based upon the consumer understanding you gain in research efforts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to road map, execute and launch products.
Drive user/consumer research by leading in-depth consumer understanding efforts, with both qualitative and quantitative components, working in collaboration with our consumer insights team.
Draft product requirements documents and present the product value proposition to cross functional team of leaders in product lifecycle management forum.
Regular communication with Product Engineering and Regional Product Management to merge the needs of the market with technical feasibility and availability.
Act as liaison Program Management to ensure projects can be met based on the 3 On's On time, On Spec, and On budget.
Partner with our Product Experience team to create leading-edge products that deliver best-in-class user experience and industrial design.
Own the Go-To-Market strategy and communication to the organization around each new product introduction, including the 4 P's - Product, Price, Promotion, and Placement.
Work closely with Marketing to drive the execution of promotional materials and assets to launch and sustain the product line, including in-store merchandising, interactive, public relations, social media, and demand generation.
Develop an understanding of global supply chain, regional demand planning, sell-in, sell-out, sell through, and end-of-life.
Create long-term barriers-to-entry against competitors in a highly-competitive marketplace.

Education and Experience Requirements
Four-year college degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field. MBA highly preferred.
5+ years of related work experience within the consumer electronics industry or similar field.
Domestic and international travel may be required.
