We are looking for a customer-focused, creative, and technical leader to shepherd products from concept phase through production; someone with a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality.
The ideal candidate has a well-rounded technical & business background, strong entrepreneurial leanings, and an ability to influence internal decision-makers.
In this role, you will: Own the first- and/or second-generation active suspension system Build performance and cost targets based upon customer feedback Define product configuration and variant plan Perform market research, benchmarking, and in-depth analyses of competitive products, pricing and technology trends In collaboration with the commercial team, shape hardware and software pricing and go-to-market strategy Deep-dive into design decisions which drive customer benefit Translate complex technical concepts into simple offerings for the commercial team Drive feature delivery timing via tight collaboration with engineering leadership Develop life-cycle management initiatives Lead special projects as opportunities arise Education & Experience Undergraduate degree in engineering, science, or business; MS, PhD, or MBA is a plus 6+ years of experience in a similar role (product management, planning, or strategy) managing software and/or hardware products Automotive industry experience is required Chassis and/or vehicle dynamics experience are a strong plus Skills & Traits An innate focus on user-experience and bringing disruptive technologies to market Ability to create and execute detailed work plans in ambiguous, unstructured work environments Ability to develop meaningful conclusions from data and make proposals Orientation toward building processes, tools and frameworks when none exist; focused on continually improving product management team effectiveness Confident but self-aware, persuasive but an active-listener, high IQ and high EQ Ability to ?speak the language?
to mechanical, electrical, software and vehicle dynamics engineering audiences Highly organized with proven project management skills Superior verbal and written communication skills

Minimum requirements: 1. Undergraduate degree in engineering, science, or business required.
MS, PhD, or MBA is a plus. 2. 6+ years of experience in product management, planning, or strategy managing software or hardware products in the automotive industry. 3. Chassis or vehicle dynamics experience are a strong plus.

The Industry Strategy Manager has responsibility for developing and driving new opportunities and initiatives with a focus in Water, primarily focused on treatment plant design. You must be a leader in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, cross-functional, and global business environment. You will use your industry, business, and analytical expertise to support go-to-market strategies in water design market. You will partner and influence multiple stakeholders across the company, including product development, sales, and marketing to determine the most effective strategies and activities to drive awareness, preference, and demand for Autodesk's solutions in water. You must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and an excellent communicator. Responsibilities Business and Strategy planning * Leads water industry strategy development * Prioritizing target segments and countries to achieve business growth goals * Identifying new business and technology opportunities * Gathering local requirements to influence product roadmaps, and ensure Autodesk can compete in priority markets * Collecting and analyzing competitive market activity and dynamics * Developing industry partnerships Industry leadership * Develops and communicates inspirational, credible, and differentiated stories for Water to be shared with customers, industry analysts, partners, and the internal Autodesk community * Presents at customer executive briefings and key industry forums Autodesk's BIM and/or Water vision and strategy * Represents Autodesk in key infrastructure technical working groups Internal Collaboration * Collaborates with Autodesk sales, marketing, finance and operations teams on go-to-market strategy * Develops strong relationships with Autodesk product development teams to influence product requirements and prioritization to meet the needs of water design customers * Serve as key point of contact for product and sales teams, throughout strategic planning and go-to-market planning and execution Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
