Position Overview:

Acquia is looking for a Product Manager to drive development and adoption of our cloud-based digital experience platform for Drupal and JavaScript developers. Specific products include our local development experience, build pipeline and Node.js infrastructure.

Product Managers at Acquia are right in the middle of the action, engaged with customers and partners, and collaborating with every team in the company.


  • Creating and managing near-to-mid term product roadmap, prioritization, tradeoffs and constraints and executing that plan with engineering

  • Partnering with our engineering and user experience teams to define product requirements and deliver against the roadmap

  • Collaborating with customers, partners, and customer-facing Acquia teams to understand market problems, identify new opportunities, and improve our customer experience

  • Managing the product P&L and key financial metrics

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2 - 5 years of relevant experience with product management, ideally in an Agile software development environment

  • Strong communications skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Experience with a subscription business model, ideally B2B

  • Familiarity with at least one of the following technology areas: web development, content management systems, digital experience platforms, digital marketing technology, Javascript, Amazon Web Services

  • Creative, collaborative thinker who knows how to get things done

Required Experience: * 2-4 years experience in a Product Management, with experience building web-based products and UIs with development teams. * Work in an agile software environment (specifically Scrum) preferred * Strong project management skills with attention to detail and situational fluency, ability to influence and motivate others, and perseverance to handle challenging business situations at all levels of management. * Understanding of and experience in UX, including strategy, interaction design, and user-centered design. Demonstrated intuition around creating good UX. * Demonstrated success in discovering insights into customer needs and transforming those insights into great product enhancements. * Ability to lead primary customer research as well as contribute to larger research projects. * Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to sit among users, technical colleagues and stakeholders and present each of their points of view as needed. * Technical experience, or a bachelor's degree in a technical field or related area of study. * eCommerce experience is a big plus Invaluable Boston MA
