Summary:
    With very limited supervision, this individual is responsible for:

    Driving development and execution of product/portfolio strategies and plans, taking into account product life cycle stage and the customer experience. Leading, development and implementation of marketing, sales and all other activities, as needed, to achieve the necessary business outcomes. Independently lead needed market, economic and competitive evaluations that affect product performance.

    Independently performing fact based data analysis and interpretation to identify critical business insights. Leading completion of needed advanced data models and analytics. Independently identifying and prioritizing new features, including market analysis, business case development and driving prioritization.

    Leading/executing large, complex new-product development initiatives and other marketing/enterprise programs across large, cross-functional work teams. Actively coaches and mentors others in less senior positions. As part of the Dataworks team, you will be developing and managing data-driven solutions that are transforming the fabric of FedEx.

    You will be part of a team of change-agents that embrace the "art of the possible" by taking a data-driven approach to creating new opportunities for the enterprise. This position will be specifically in support of the ShopRunner portfolio of products within Dataworks. With very limited supervision, this individual is responsible for:

    Defining the product roadmap and executing on features of service for data-driven products, with ownership of the entire process from ideation through product delivery and management Understanding needs of end-users, focusing on solving end-user problems, and incorporating market feedback into the product roadmap Deep understanding and experience with agile development methodologies centered around iterative development, where requirements and solutions evolve through collaboration between cross-functional teams that embrace diversity of thought Facilitating platform-thinking across the portfolio of products, including aligning roadmap to strategic initiatives and identifying opportunities for collaboration across products Leading cross-functional teams, including customer research and design, engineering, data scientists, and commercial teams, to deliver an exceptional customer experience backed by robust product capabilities Facilitating fearless communication amongst product stakeholders, with the ability to articulate ideas in all forms of communication with exceptional storytelling. Fostering an entrepreneurial spirit while leveraging the power of a global organization, allowing you to execute large, complex new- product development initiatives and other marketing/enterprise programs across large, cross- functional work teams Actively coaches and mentors others in less senior positions, fostering leadership at every level of the organization. Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:

    Product Management experience building large-scale, technology capabilities with experience on platform products a plus Knowledge of and passion for the digital landscape, including market dynamics and advancements driving consumer expectations and business needs in retail/commerce, industry, healthcare, or logistics. Creative thinker able to ideate new concepts particularly around how data and external partnerships can extend innovative services to new customers and markets. Strong critical thinking and strategic thinking abilities (being able to look at the big picture and get into details). Experience and comfort presenting complex concepts to stakeholders, including executive leadership, with success.

    Proven ability to lead with minimal direction on projects where little institutional knowledge exists and ability to thrive in demanding and relatively unstructured environments. Demonstrated ability to network with peers and all levels of management and to collaborate cross functionally across the corporation. High level of positive energy, enthusiasm and self-motivation.

    Track record of outstanding performance and demonstrated leadership. Minimum Qualifications:
    Master's degree or equivalency in Product Marketing, Economics, Business, or related field.

    Five (5) years' work experience in functions focused on product management, market analysis or research, or equivalent. Superior knowledge of competitive, market and economic factors affecting product performance and ability to perform fact based data analysis. Expert communication and presentation skills, quantitative, problem structuring & solving skills.

    Superior executive presence, human relations, networking and influencing skills.

    Strong project management and project management leadership experience. A directly related Master's Degree is equivalent to two (2) years experience.

    More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. Domicile / Relocation Information: This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States.
