Our Leadership Development Program:

Pentair's Product Management Leadership Development Program is an accelerated program for recent college graduates with proven ability to excel in today's fast-paced world. The program is designed to develop high caliber individuals into future leaders in Product Management. The program provides participants the opportunity to gain high level visibility to leadership and create significant impact within a global manufacturing organization.

The Product Management Leadership Development Program is a three year program consisting of three, 12 month rotations within two or more locations. The program will begin in June 2022 and give participants exposure to different facets of Product Management through assigned rotations based on business needs and individual career aspirations.

What to Expect:

Product Management Rotations-In these rotations, you will gain experience supporting critical business activities including price quotations, new product development, product certification, voice of customer (VOC) and forecasting. Some rotations may also include E-Commerce experiences.

You Must:

  • Be currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or Engineering related field from an accredited university (Preferred Graduation Date: Spring 2022)

  • Have a 3.3 minimum cumulative GPA

  • Have a strong interest in pursuing the Product Management Leadership Development Program which requires annual relocation/working in locations throughout the United States upon graduation

  • Have previous Business, Marketing or Product Management Internship or co-op experience; manufacturing environment is preferred

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Our Internship Program: Our summer 2022 internship program is designed to give college students relevant work experience across specific functions of the organization. We offer 12 weeks of meaningful work to refine your skills and experience while giving you exposure to multi-functional teams within a global manufacturing organization. This program is a key piece of Pentair's early careers talent program to ensure a strategic talent pipeline to meet the evolving needs of the organization now and into the future. The intern is responsible for supporting and collaborating with Engineering, Marketing, Operations and Sales to help drive growth within North America. In this role, the intern will be responsible for but is not limited to portfolio optimization efforts, discontinuation of existing product families, and Product Information Management Systems (PIMS) for web and digital navigation. This position will be located in Chicago, IL, Milwaukee WI, Delavan, WI, Conroe, TX or White Bear Lake, MN and may require a minimum of one week of travel per month throughout the summer. Includes price quotations, new product development, product certification, voice of customer (VOC) and forecasting navigation. * Support cross-functional initiatives not lead by product management. Includes but is not limited to certification & regulatory compliance, value add value engineering (VAVE) initiatives, and sustaining projects for operations.
