SWBC is seeking talented students to join our College Intern Program in San Antonio, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity for college students who are motivated and eager to learn within their educational field of study.

Interns will gain practical hands-on experience and training that will provide an opportunity for growth, learning and development within the financial services industry. Full-time and part-time paid internship opportunities will be available in numerous departments, which may include: Information Technology, Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources, Mortgage, Insurance, Legal, PEO, Lender Placed Operations, Financial Institutions, Investment Services and Training. Interns will be placed within a specific division based on interest, experience, academic coursework, SWBC's business need, and flexibility with college/university schedule.

Essential duties include the following:

  • Creates sprint announcements and organize BETA and PPV testing on 4 boards.

  • Assists with board organization.

  • Assists with PBI analysis and stakeholder FAQ.

  • Runs board queries as needed for research.

  • Participating in scrum stand ups.

  • Assists multiple Product Managers and stakeholder with ad hoc requests.

  • Builds awareness and gain exposure to the Financial Services Industry while growing your talents.

  • Learns key technical skills to apply acquired knowledge and assist in problem solving.

  • Gains practical, hands on experience that will provide an opportunity for growth.

  • Works alongside and shadow team members while expanding your knowledge base with the ability to further develop your skills.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or related program at an accredited university/college.

  • Expected graduation date of December 2024 or later.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills required.

  • Detail oriented and possess excellent follow up skills.

  • Organized and adapt well to change.

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

  • Passion and desire for learning and a proactive energy for getting things done.

  • Display maturity and a high level of professionalism.
