Product Management Director

Octagon Talent is seeking an exceptional Product Management Director who is passionate about building enterprise solutions. This individual will lead and manage the product workstream and serve as a liaison between the development team and enterprise healthcare customers. The PMD can be located in the NY, NJ, CT or Eastern PA markets

Lead product vision, definition, and prioritization.
Define product-market fit for our clients products, which includes a deep understanding of pain points for enterprise customers as well as the end user (e.g., patient, consumer).
Partner and collaborate with engineering and marketing to provide clear direction on product needs.
Develop and foster strong relationships with enterprise customers (e.g., payors, self-insured employers, providers, nursing home and elderly care facilities, etc.).
Build both short-term and long-term strategic product plans that consider user needs, business needs and the broader competitive landscape.
Ensure appropriate product testing and oversee user acceptance testing and support go-to-market planning in order to gain successful customer engagement and product adoption.
Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 5 years of product management experience in a product development/management role, preferably cloud-based in an agile startup environment.
Masters Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent engineering degree is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to conceive and iterate product feature requirements based on data, analytics, and strategy.
A deep understanding of the US healthcare system (e.g., value chain, structure, reimbursements, procurements, etc.). is a HUGE bonus.
Capable of balancing user and business needs while remaining flexible in a fast-changing startup environment.
Prototyping and/or A/B testing experience.
Be a great communicator, detailed oriented, and a great cross-collaborator when working with other departments within the company.
The ability and willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
