As a Product Line Marketing Specialist/Strategist at Paul Mueller Company, you will assume responsibility for the conception and execution of marketing initiatives tailored to our diverse product lines. Your scope of work will encompass the orchestration of advertising campaigns, the development of marketing collateral, and the formulation and execution of marketing strategies. Your role will also entail a deep dive into market research and emerging trends to discern invaluable insights. These insights will be leveraged to craft marketing strategies that not only strive to achieve product line sales objectives but also align with our overarching business strategies.
Essential Job Functions
Research, develop, and execute product line marketing initiatives, ensuring efforts align with overall business strategy
Develop compelling go-to-market strategy and plan for new product launches, including, but not limited to, development of sales collateral, product labels, product images/illustrations, creation of product web pages, email campaigns, press releases, trade show support, print ads, social media posts, and digital ad campaigns
Oversee value proposition meetings, as applicable, to help assess target audiences, market demand, competition, market trends, and positioning for new products
Oversee business model meetings, as applicable, to help further assess new product viability, true market size, resource demands, cost structures, and potential ROI
Develop and update resources for the online dealer portal, as applicable, including technical documents, marketing collateral, training videos, branded assets, product images, co-op ads, and more
Assist in the development and promotion of marketing collateral such as white papers, case studies, ad copy, emails, blog posts, etc.
Solicit input, content, and resources from project stakeholders for the sake of content development and review, to solve challenges, and to meet time-sensitive project deadlines.
Plan, develop, and execute the strategic content mix for communication channels
Ensure content relates to industry, solution, product changes, or new developments, shaping the marketing message to align with consumer insights
Effectively manage and communicate schedules, budgets, assets, and overall scope to ensure project requirements are met
Monitor and analyze campaign performance by developing, tracking, and reporting on meaningful KPIs to enhance performance and drive results
Provide and execute recommendations for campaign performance improvements
Stays current on and implements applicable marketing best practices relative to brand awareness, SEO, lead generation, and thought leadership
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate them when applicable into our social media strategy
Optimize digital assets, such as text, graphics, or multimedia assets, for search engine optimization (SEO) or for display and usability
Help shape brand positioning and narrative while targeting the proper audience
Drive the development of customer personas to leverage research and market analysis
Foster a positive and proactive attitude within the team, promoting a culture of learning and growth
Maintain organized records of marketing materials and assets
Work closely with the marketing team to achieve shared objectives and deliver cohesive campaigns
Works collaboratively with the multifunctional teams (global marketing, IT, service, sales, product development, etc.) to unite efforts
Regular, in-person attendance due to necessary teamwork and personal interactive nature of this position

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred
2+ year(s) of relevant experience is preferred
Experience in a B2B marketing environment is preferred
Experience in project and/or client management is preferred
Base Compensation Range: $53,537 - $80,306 annually
Variable Compensation Range: Incentive bonus eligibility up to 10% of gross annual salary base on company performance (as of 2024).
