SUMMARY:

This position leads the development and coordination of HDT products among all departments for PLM to ensure the latest state of the art technology applied in power and trailer product lines. Provide technical expertise and acumen in military modern power energy and trailer delivery system to the Director of PLM, including strategic direction, competitive market analysis, planning, project management to execute new product introduction and existing product cost reduction and performance improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads Power & Trailer project management to implement new product introduction

  • Leads existing Power & Trailer products improvement to ensure top quality delivery

  • Provide technical guidance to engineering R&D for product development direction

  • Leads the development and refinement of technical resources, policies, systems, analysis methods, and measure characterizations to ensure the delivery of high quality technical information and services to marketing team, staff, and customers

  • Responsible for developing consumer and channel communication strategies for new product launch including overall management of content, value proposition and unified messaging throughout all datasheets, manuals, and presentations

  • Carries out research to determine customer needs and expectations in order to develop new products

  • Generates business cases that drive product rationalization and sunset decisions, recommends product extensions and provides product enhancement roadmaps that align with customer roadmaps, acquisitions plans, and technology development roadmaps

  • Leads PLM participation in savings verification and technical quality assurance activities, including providing training, developing policies and procedures, and participating in periodic technical reviews

  • Responsible for producing business statistics among which are price points, product mix sales history, and competition for product introduction

  • Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization

  • Adheres to all quality and safety standards

  • Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned

The Blade center focuses on developing leading edge technologies and products for US and Allied Militaries. The Blade Center leads all research and development for HDT Global. In addition to R&D, the Blade Center performs manufacturing for all robotic systems and specialty products. Blade focuses on robotics, autonomous and unmanned systems, CBRN, exportable power, shelter and concealment and many other strategic areas. This position will also support the Business Development and Government Relations Team, which includes our Business Development Operations, Communications, Product Line Management, and a dedicated Sales Team who are strategically located across the US. Many members of our sales team have served in the US Military and have a strong connection to our customers and our mission. This position will be part of the site leadership team and will partner with business leaders to develop strategies and action plans to achieve business objectives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provides leadership and guidance to support and implement human resources policies, programs and practices * Partners with management staff to support facility and/or corporate goals * Partners with facility managers in all aspects of the recruitment, selection and onboarding processes, ensuring that HDT policy, statutory laws and best practice requirements are satisfied and participates in selection panels as necessary * Leads the college recruitment initiatives, attending college job fairs, developing relationships with targeted colleges, develops a pipeline of future employees * Collaborates with site leader ship to identify and implements employee training and development programs * Deploys employee engagement, employee experience and employee development programs * Participates in the development and implementation of Corporate and facility HR goals, objectives, and systems * Supports management in the handling of employee relations matters. Investigates sensitive and complex situations and facilitates the resolution of matters on conflict at the earliest opportunity * Escalates concerns in relation to HR and other matters to the appropriate management staff as necessary * Compiles and prepares data in relation to and preparation of EEO and Affirmative Action reporting/plan requirements * Adheres to all quality and safety standards * Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned ?
